  64. By the way, to be honest, the video for Southside is pretty good, but not
  65. the best, and the collaboration with Gwen was cool, but not that impressive
  66. to be called the best..  But Moby still is my favorite male (musically
  67. speaking of course, hehe :), although Maxi Jazz from Faithless comes close
  68. too... Am I the only one who thinks Muhammad Ali is shit? And I'm not a
  69. person who only likes Faithless for the dance music, Reverence is one of
  70. their best tracks, Bring My Family Back too, but the most recent single
  71. doesn't do anything for me, pity.  Oh oh I'm drifting off topic, sorry 'bout
  72. that :)

  93. You lucky b... :)  I also have the interview cd, but had to pay $$$ for
  94. it... It seems there were not as much Play interview CDs made as interview
  95. CDs for EIW and AR.  The last two are also pretty rare nowadays by the way,
  96. but I got them both pretty cheap a couple of years ago. I also have a lot of
  97. exciting moby stuff on the way, I could tell you guys about it when I get
  98. it, but then again, who's interested...

  123. previous two and yes, I agree Muhammad Ali is shit...

  187. like some artists where they'll just slap a new track on there. the way
  188. they totally re-did the whole structure of the song was amazing! moby and
  189. gwen must of spent weeks in the studio getting their harmonies to match so
  190. perfectly! it's the best song ever! well, maybe second to porcelain.

  254. Tribute - What's going on" with a brand new Moby remix on it! Has anybody
  255. heard it yet or has anybody bought the CD yet? I would be very interested in
  256. some discography info :) There are as far as I know 2 versions of this CD
  257. with the Moby remix on it, a US and a European one.

  328. can't believe V2 just replaced the original, in all of its shimmering, rough
  329. edged, buzz saw glory, with the shiny, sexless celebrity version!!

  331. Here's a marketing idea for V2 - how about reissuing the album with the
  332. tracks in reverse. The cover shot could be Moby lying under the debris of
  333. the broken bed, the title could be 'Yalp' and - this would be the genius bit
  334. - - it could come with a limited edition second album of people like Sting,
  335. Phil Collins and Elton John doing covers of their favorite tracks from
  336. 'Play'. The cover would be of every one jumping on a giant bed in the
  337. grounds of one of Elton's mansions. It could be called 'Over Play'. And
  338. then, for a very limited time it could also come with a CD of versions
  339. recorded by the female singers that Moby has tried chatting up. Obviously
  340. this would be called 'ForePlay' and would have a picture of Moby in the bed
  341. - - alone. Finally there could be hip hop version called 'Play-az' and....
  342. I've got to get a new job.

  344. Seriously though, I still love Play, but it just amazes me how blatant
  345. record company rip off machines are these days. But surely the artist can
  346. say 'no' at some point. Surely someone has to say 'no' at some point. Would
  347. that be down to us, the fans - the consumers... or is this all we have to
  348. look forward to. Reissues, best of compilations, and more reissues with
  349. added tracks. Hang on a minute... a quick look at this weeks music press
  350. would suggest that 'yes' this is all we have to look forward to.
  351.  
  352. So, has anyone else got any marketing suggestions for the re-re-reissue of
  353. Play? I'm sure the folk at the label are so bankrupt for ideas that we could
  354. help a little. Or are they all more interested in closing down mark's site?

  479. Once a hidden gem like Moby actually begins to get any sort of
  480. recognition he deserve there is a backlash

  482. Sold out I hear you cry... What do you expect Moby to do? He is in the
  483. business to make money everyone is. As long as the songs keep coming I
  484. don't care where I hear them, it still runs a chill down my spine when I
  485. hear a Moby song in an advert or movie, am I the only one who likes to
  486. be caught unawares by his greatness? Albeit it is an advert or a movie
  487. but I have to work for a living and I cant spend all day listening to
  488. the one artiste that I would like to (I know that seems sad but that is
  489. life.  I have probably spent enough money on Moby over the last 10 years
  490. that a lot of you put together but that in it self does not make me a
  491. better fan, it does not make me a worthy fan.  I could argue all night
  492. with friends who just don't get Moby but I only do that for fun I know I
  493. am never going to convert them (for want of a better word) to just how
  494. much I enjoy listening to Moby how his music touches my soul, how
  495. hearing just the tiniest snippet of a song can brightening up my day how
  496. there are so many times I have cried and laughed to music I could go on
  497. to tell you how I played now I let it go at my grandmas funeral how at
  498. my birthday I always play thousand just because it is my night and I can
  499. ;-) and there are so many occasions where Moby's music is just
  500. integrated into my soul it just feels so natural.

  576. shoots of the past 2 years.

  578. play on words - album of spoofs of songs on play by the likes of wierd al
  579. yankovich. the cover for this one could be wierd al jumping on moby.

  581. overplay - tracks: porcelain, southside w/ gwen, bodyrock, southside w/
  582. gwen, porcelain, porcelain, southside w/ gwen, porcelain, southside w/
  583. gwen, southside w/ gwen, porcelain, bodyrock, southside w/ gwen, and as a
  584. special bonus, natural blues, natural blues, and natural blues. the cover
  585. could be a grid of little red play triangles
