Your letter to the Mobility Digest is not appreciated.
I am sorry but do yourself a favor and get off of this list.
You will not inject your hatred, and UNEDUCATED OPINION into this forum, how
dare you write lies and untruths into our music forum.
God bless the innocent who have lost their lives globally.

P.N.K. consider yourself reported to the USA FBI wherever you are.
Who do you think you are? You are nobody and your ignorant and sterile words

Sorry, but as much as I disagree with this PNK guy, I can't say that you=
are in the right at all either.
1. I don't think you should speak for the whole list
2. He's obviously an educated person, that letter was well written. Just=
not something that many will readily agree with (including myself).
3. Why do you feel the need to ridiculously claim to have "reported" him=
to the FBI? What in god's name are you talking about?
4. Slamming someone for having an opposing point of view is probably just=
as ignorant as you believe that point of view to be.
This guy wasn't trying to tear into or flame other people, and regardless=
of what his opinion was, he doesn't deserve this kind of hate from you, or=
anyone else.
Thanks.

Very well-put, Matt; I agree totally. As strongly as I disagree with what PNK wrote, and as flawed as his "logic" may have been, he's still entitled to his opinion. (Isn't that supposed to have been one of the founding principles of this country, anyway?) Besides, I didn't interpret his letter as a threat, but as more of a misguided attempt at prophecy. Certainly not anything warranting a report to law enforcement.
I know it's at a time like this when it's the most difficult to keep your head, but this is also when it's most crucial to do so, because so much is at stake. We MUST remember to examine our thoughts and bear in mind the effects of our actions on others. To do otherwise is to risk another tragedy.

Hehe, hey PNK, next time pick a mailing list with not so many Americans,
they get upset easy if you critisize their so beloved country. Although I
don't agree with a lot PNK said, there is a little piece of truth in there
Americans don't want to see, they are not Gods little pet country, they are
not better than others, and they are also not the innocent people they want
everybody to believe.
I hope this hunting for terrorists in the US doesn't turn out like the fox
hunt for communists last century... Although we Europeans and the US don't
have too different a culture, still they often creep me out.
And since Americans usually get upset really easily, here's the disclaimer:
- - This rant was not aimed at anybody in particular
- - Not all the people in the US are so narrow minded as I picture them, I
know!
- - Nobody's perfect, not even I :)
- - Comments or suggestions? Speak now or hold your silence forever..
Bart

bart, you're lucky enuff to live in the netherlands and probably you have no clue on what terrorism means. i'm sure people from spain, italy, uk, ireland and RUSSIA agree that terrorism is creepier than the american culture.
but still, what ruben just posted... that was way creepy, and yes, that macho attitude is pretty american. i know you've been through a tragedy, and remember that's not only an american tragedy, but your reaction, dear ruben, just looks like the ones we see on tv from the "enemy" countries you're about to bomb.
payback, that's the only way out. boy, this world disgusts me...
sorry for being this rude, today i'm really pissed off.

Comon, now Bart, we Americans know that we are the world's heroes, USA ALL
THE WAY!!!
Actually, to tell the truth, the average american doesn't give a shit about
world affairs, much less think of their country in the way that
Non-Americans do. Most of us are apathetic or ignorant to what those in
power do to actually effect other countries, not that this is a good thing,
but when when you talk about how "America" harms other countries be clear on
who you are refering to, corporate and federal America.
Chris.

This brings up a good point and I want to support it with a little
story/incident that happened with me about a year ago..
I remember going out with a certain someone to grab a bite to eat and we
began a discussion about politics and religion, which soon led to the topic
of abortion..
And she asked me whether I agreed with abortion and whether I think it should
be legal..
I, PERSONALLY, do not agree with abortion and think it is wrong...
She then proceeded to get up and leave, telling me that she cannot be friends
with someone who does not agree with abortion...
I was in shock..this was someone who I had spent a great deal of time with
for the past few months and she is going to walk out on me because we
disagree on a point of view..
She told me I was not open minded, yet, I was completely open about accepting
her views and her beliefs..
So then my question to her was: Who is the one that is closing up all those
around her who don't share the same views? And if she only took a minute to
sit down and listen to me and where I am coming from with my belief, she then
may understand that I am not some right-wing conservative planting boms in
abortion clinics...
This was all to let all of you know out there that I whole-heartedly agree
with Matt's Fourth point..we're only doing more damage by slamming people,
epecially when they are serious...I have exchanged e-mails with PNK privately
and honestly believe that he is a good human being...and he also feels for
those who have died...but he also has a belief which ,ay seem uncommon to
many of us and we should respect it...love, elie
