I received the same email. A friend of mine corrected it. I'm not saying
this is definitely correct either. If this is what was written, I don't
believe it was a prediction. One of the many psychos who contributed to this
atrocious act might have just been a fan of his work or just really messed up
in the head..God knows what. I can't make any sense out of this. I don't
know anybody that can. I live and work on Long Island and the College across
from where I work was evacuated because of a bomb threat today. I think it
is sad that some people are making matters worse by making false bomb threats
and fighting with people at gas stations and 711s. How sick are those
people? Whoever sickly took part in this attack are laughing and proud of
what they did because of what happened yesterday and everything following
that...certain Americans are feeding these sick people with their ignorance.
People need to just slow down and let these events sink in. Realize the loss
and feel it so we can move on in a healthy state. On the other hand I am so
overwhelmed with the good that I have seen, even on this list. I don't
contribute much to the list but I read all of the postings and what I do know
of all of you I do love in a human way. I can't explain it but it hurts to
think that any of you are hurting. We are all victims on different scales
and my heart pours out to those who lost their lives, families, loved ones,
etc. We all really need to just love each other and offer what we can. I
hope all of you and your loved ones continue to stay safe and well. -Kelly

Hello mobility-digest readers,
I am a recent subscriber to this mail-list.
It' isn't time for me right now to introduce myself, I'll do that
when things calm down.
But I would like to send out my condolences to those people that
this act of terrorism has touched.
It is very unfortunate, because this was a day when my brother had
his birthday, one of my friends, and my pastors wife + Moby.
This event has not only ruined this weeks celebration, but all
those to come. This is one *happy* birthday, I will remember.
I would also like to mention the fact that Americans are hated by
most of the world. I am talking as a person that knows
internationals and is an international himself. I know this is
something that not all Americans are aware of, but there is
literally half-the-world that lives day-to-day, expecting to be
bombed, shot, raped or otherwise abused.
America is a safe place, and it's people have become more and more
ignorant, they take life for granted. I call this terroristic
virginity. This is a time when the whole of United States should
get on their knees and pray to God who they claim to 'trust'.
Too much wickedness is going on in the US, which God does not
tolerate, and He will strike down America like He did with Sodom
and Gomorra, it is also now that people have become like those
building the tower of Babylon. They think they are God.
Enough talk, our paths have crossed, please join, and pray, that
we make the most of this time.

Where do you live?
The very foundations of America is to live a peaceful life and not be afraid
of terrorist acts on our own soil. I am always thankful that I live in a
country such as this. A lot of refugees come from many countries to live a
peaceful life. The US has hurt many countries and has helped many countries
but as for all of those people that cheered and believe that this was an
attack that was a deserved attack and they live here....well they should pack
up there bags and go somewhere where they will be more happy.

Subject: (mobility) Observations
I am also another country living in the US & thankful
for where I live. Before this week, I didn't feel too
patriotic & saw the idea of "America" with bittersweet
cynicism. I still feel odd wearing flag colors, but
if it communicates my support, then I'm behind it.
Spanish talk radio this morning, which often has
people talking about a lot of negative things in this
country, like racism, was full of tears & love for
what the US has provided. The US isn't holy or evil.
But any evil done in this country does not deserve to
have innocent people murdered. It is a seperate issue
that violence will not cure; even if anyone had a good
message behind the harm, it will immediately become
irrelevant. Just like violent anger isn't doing good
now. I've heard of Iraqi-Americans being harrassed at
gun point on the street (drive bys). If anyone
doesn't like what's going on in the Middle East for
any issue, you have to keep it seperate. There's
things for dealing with each problem. And there are
certain specific consequences for what those criminals did.
