Police reportedly discovered Moby naked on the roof of his
New York home. Get the scoop here.

Natural Blues
Apparently, Moby wasn't kidding when he recently posted messages
about strolling around naked and wishing for a tropical pool on his
roof. Police officers reportedly were summoned to Moby's New York pad
on a noise complaint and discovered the techno auteur and some friends
lounging in the buff on the roof in a makeshift sauna.

Indeed, a small venue is highly preferable. I saw Moby at the Aragon in
Chicago and it was beautiful.

the truth of the matter is that ticketmaster is a money grubbing bureacracy...
and so is the record industry..
and so are many musicians...
there is also another truth...
corporations like Ticketmaster and the record idustry and whoever else is
involved in putting concerts together charger a fortune for tickets because
they know we, the consumers and fans will pay for them..i'm not saying all of
us will, but enough to sell out shows...look at people like Bruce and even
Madonna...they can sell out 10 straight nights at madison square garden in
NYC for tickets ranging from 45-250..just an example...so i think we have us
to thank also for these prices being so high...i will also include myself in
this pool...love..elie

you're right. They charge those prices because they know people will pay.
Madonna is not going to lower the price of her tickets on her own--we will.
If we grumble about having tp pay such high prices, than we sould do
something. It may seem radical, but the only way I could see this getting
accomplished is through a boycott of bands and artists who charge insanely
high prices. Anyone remember the $300 tix for a Rolling Stones show?
Honestly, do those 60-year-olds need all that money? No, but tons of people
paid anyway. If we want lower prices, we'll have to work for it ourselves.
