Yeah, to say my 2 cents about this debate, --I was all psyched about the internet presale tickets thang held about a week ago. (Becuase I was fully prepared with someone to go with and could potentially get awesome seats) Well anyway it took me forever to get tickets and when I saw the price, 56 dollars for not so good pavillion seats, I hesitated to buy these tickets with such outrageous ticketmaster additional charges that people have been ranting about also. Crazy, I thought- I
thought they would be a little cheaper, I know its an amazing lineup Moby has but I am hesitant to buy such expensive tickets to a venue that outright sucks......(Tweeter Center)

You're right. The layout for Tweeter sucks, and even though I am going to see another show there (depeche Mode), I still won't be happy. I first saw Moby three years ago in a small club (Vanderbuilt) on Long Island for ten bucks. It was amazing, and the two times I have gone back to see him I noticed the tix got more expensive and the quality of the venues declined. Lupo's in Providence was crowded, and Avalon was downright disgusting. That show, along with Paul Oakenfold, convinced me to never spend another dime on that club.
I guess I would rather see Moby in a small club or venu, because the vibe is so much more palpable and positive. But that's just my opinion.

to be honest with all of you guys..
YOU'RE NOT REAL MOBY FANS!!!
JUST KIDDING....
i am glad to be going to brasil when moby comes to Jersey...i'm not so much
complaining about the costs beacause any bands or festivals that team up with
Ticketmaster is going to charge us a fortune for the most part...
REMEMBER PEARL JAM BACK IN THE DAY TRYING TO FIGHT AGAINST TICKETMASTER??
i would have definitely been concerned about the Venue instead...from what i
have been getting from the rest of the posts is that the Area festival is
going to be in more Pavillion like places where the idea of a festival may
not seem fit for the place..when i think of festivals, i think of old
stadiums or a huge field of some kind...i don't know how they are going to
fit different stages at PNC in new jersey...
also, getting great seats for the PNC has been close to impossible over the
past few years due to its popularity for summer shows and lawn seats go back
close to a mile...Moby will be a little ant on stage...
i have been lucky enough to see him numerous times and going to see moby as
an ant this summer would not have made my day...love..elie

I agree, when I went to endfest in seattle a few years ago it was a huge dirt
field, no seats. There were booths and tents surrounding. It really felt
like a festival. It was great, you could get close to the stage if you
wanted to but there were also places to lay out a blanket and sit back. You
had the freedom to explore the whole venue which seems to me the spirit of a
festival.
