The best thing you could do is switch to a mail program not made by
Microsoft. Barring that, look in the Options or preferences or
whatever it's called and select 'Plain text' as your outgoing mail
format.

Is this a cover of the cheesy Jane Fonda movie theme song? Now *that* would be a hoot.

Does anyone know if Thom Yorke was in NYC on Saturday? I walked about three
blocks, heading towards Central Park, with these two British guys beside me.
I looked over and I swear the one guy looked exactly like Thom Yorke! The
only thing that makes me think it wasn't, is that his hair was black. And I
thought that Thom's was blonde or something. But it was the same exact
haircut. He was wearing sunglasses so I didn't get to look at his eyes to
see if one was lazy or not... It might sound horrible, but that's one of
the ways I can tell in a picture if it's Thom Yorke :(

Thanks.... flattery will always make my day.... I don't know
if you spin only from vinyl, or if you mix from cd's as
well, but if you have a cd-burner, both the german plastic
angel mix of Run On and Tone Matrix' My Weakness/Your
Strength are on the ftp site.... or if they aren't, I can
put them there.

Whack Ass.... I like that... Consider it now stolen for my
own personal use.
All the dj's I learned anything from taught me that the most
important thing to have in your set is flow. You can have
all the best underground shit on the market, but if it all
sounds the same, and if it doesn't build up to something,
you'll just wear your audience out, they'll get bored and
leave (unless they're all on E, in which case it doesn't
matter what you play, they can't tell if it's shit or not).
But the dynamic should build from song to song until you
finally hit a climax, an almost cathartic release, an
ecstatic musical moment that makes the audience glad they
came.
To that end, I find trance, house and rave cuts useful for
the way the build upon each other... but breaks are good for
bringing a crowd back around and setting them up for the
next surge.
Also, I recorded this set before the mixes for "South Side"
were released. So, I'll probably wind up re tracking it
eventually to incorporate at least one of those mixes and
maybe some different mixes of songs already in the set.
