Ok, um I was wondering, since several people have
claimed that somebody or someone (me, Keiichi,
themself) is the coolest person on the list, why not
do an organized poll?
Who do you think is the coolest person on Mobility
1. Right now?
2. EVER?
RULES:
for 1. You can vote for anybody on the list right now.
for 2. You can vote to anyone who ever posted on the
list. Ever. You can vote for Moby also cause he's
posted here.
my responses:
1. Keiichi
2. tough choice between Ryu and Kees..... I'll say Ryu
tho.
Anyone?
And yes, you can vote for me! :P
ROCK!

Moby is the obvious choice since he is the reason we are all on this list.
So indeed I vote for Moby. Yes, I am trying to earn brownie points.
On another note, I am hoping that Moby will add a Florida date to his tour
since he had to cancel the only Florida date. That would be cool.

I don't know who's coolest or what not.... but I make sure I
read the posts when I see these names next to them: Daniel
Cerman, Damian (mobility admin.), Steve Giles, Xaq, Ryu, DJ
Paul Simpson, Rob Skipworth, Mark, and a few others who seem
to be full of useful information and know what they're
talking about.

Actually, yes, it does make it a bit difficult to discern where things begin
and end because of all of the "end of message" "reply separator" "la dee da"
crap that is quoted over and over again. (My connection is anything but slow.)
And, it takes, at most, 5 seconds to delete all of the shit you're not replying
to. I'll tell you how. Hold down the mouse button. Highlight everything. HIT
DELETE. It's really very easy and would be much appreciated. It's common
netiquette.
Not knowing about it is one thing but purposely not doing it is really rude.
If you think it takes too much time, do me a favor and find where it says in
your settings "quote original message in replies." Turn that off. Then, you
wouldn't have to worry about it, and thankfully, neither would I or any other
poor person who is in digest mode getting about 5 messages per digest of one
line, asinine emails with the same shit quoted over and over again.
Elissa.

The problem when people just reply, and we end up with a lot of embedded
messages is especially annoing on the digest-version.
You get the same text 23 times in a singe post, and it can be very
confusing to find where the "real" messages starts and ends.
I'm also a member of the KLF-mailing list, here you can't post a message
with a certain amount of couted lines.
That people include a part of the old message is good, but when that
message also include bits of 21 other messages it simply gets too much.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not pissed on anyone from the list, but only
on how a normal mail on the digest-mode looks like (maybe I simply should
switch to the real-time-mode).
