Subject: (mobility) will the real DJ Paul please stand up?
I guess there's a little DJ Paul in all of us.
Fuck, let's all stand up.
Anyway, just want to clarify that my life is not THAT
pathetic. I spend much more time at the Astralwekrs
Message Board than I do at ebay or on Mobility
combined! Oops, should I have said that?
Anyway, getting BACK ON TOPIC, I heard Instrumental's
cover of "Hymn". It's actually the "This Is My Dream"
version not the album version. For those who didnt see
this when I posted it before cause you were worrying
about how much time I spend online, a string ensemble
called Instrumental has a cd called "Acoustek" that
has string versions of techno tunes. One of them is
Hymn, and tunes by Plastikman, Orb, Orbital, Eno etc
are there too. I was disapointed by the cd tho, cause
I didnt know a lot of the songs on there (just "Hymn"
"Little Fluffy Clouds" and "Consumed" by Plastikman)
so it kind of was less of a novelty. But the songs I
recognized were wonderful. So, I dunno, if you ever
wanted to hear an orchestral version of Hymn (and who
hasn't? ;) get this cd. Its on Angel btw. The label
that brought you the Benedictine Monks ;P
Hey, whatever happened to those guys? They should
cover some Moby tunes ;P

I JUST READ IN STAR THAT MOBY USED TO BE ONE OF THE
BENEDICTINE MONKS!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! CAN
YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!! OH AND HYMN RULES!!!!!

Subject: (mobility) SONG + Opinion
Hey y'all
just wanted to say my opinion on the "South Side" song.
I think the original is plain, simple, and cool.
the remake with Gwen seems to be bullshit to me. I don't like it
sure sounds damn good but the flavour it gives out seems way
poppy and super alternative.
I ain't damning Moby or anyone else, but just wanted to say my
opinion on the song.
