Yes people, You read that right. I've decided to throw myself into the fray
and get Bizet with it and announce a solution.
If you're ready Moby, how about it?! Run for President! Voila! The problem
of a crappy president is eradicated, I'm pretty sure a good portion of your
fans will follow behind you, the country would become a better place...
Promotions? Play your array of utterly mindblowingly fantastic music during
a few of them. That'd get all the kids who just turned 18 into the voting
booths as well. You're the kind of person who would be able to reach to the
youth of today and tomorrow and still be able to connect on an adult level
as well without being branded as fake.
I must admit though, I am for Gore... oh eyah.. I'm a Canadian to boot!
Maybe Moby should run for Prime Minister of Canada? :) Hehehe
I think Moby as President would be cool... I mean sure... live shows would
unfortunately be few... but i am sure he'd attempt a few to keep it real
with the fans. After being sworn in, suddenly Bodyrock starts playing and
Parliament Hill gets on down with the groove :)
Okay... too much of an imagination :) It could happen though... anything is
possible...
Sincerely,
K. Flewin

This choose or loose thing on tv today had a live call with moby on his
opinions about Nader
He said that Nader being in the elections was irresponsible, and that his
claims about the parties not being different are not true. That basically
Nader screwed Gore and the Democrats.
If a vote for Nader was a vote for Bush, then how do you vote for Nader?
Moby wouldn't want such a choice I guess.

Oh boy, Moby does feel strongly on this issue. I believe he's probably=
just as pissed as all the other Gore supporters out there... and very well=
may be saying some things that he doesn't exactly mean. However, his=
point could very well likely be that Nader should've known damn well he=
wouldn't win, therefore, it was irresponsible to push so hard, especially=
since he didn't even get the 5% to qualify his party.
Now, I don't really want to argue with anyone, I'm just saying that could=
be a possibility, or a way it could be interpreted.

Wow. Your post is really informative. I've thought for years that the 2
parties were not very different at all and lately, that corporations hold
all the power anyway. Matt had plenty to say too. Thanks guys. About
getting into Moby-Online. I have been trying to get the password as well
for about 4 times now. They keep saying they will e-mail it but so far
nothing. Help out there? I'll try to find out too. Anne

Actually, the Nader factor had less impact on this election than all the
crazy screw-ups with the election process itself. Electoral College has
always bothered me and anyone should be able to run for president if they
want to, even Richard Melville Hall! Groovin. Anne

Its the concept of the blues: when you are feeling bad, listen to the blues
("Why Does My Heart..." qualifies in this category, as do some others).
When your mood changes, change your Moby song! I don't know how Moby feels
but I expect he experiences the full range of emotions and his music
reflects these. Anne

Ahh, yes, however, for anyone who's in support of Gore, the Nader factor=
did have a huge impact. Just think... if those 96,000 votes in Florida=
had not been for Nader, well, we know who would be very much ahead of that=
boil-faced GWB.
