It is for this reason that people on the U2Wire list
initiated during the 1997 POPMart Tour the practice of
wearing "Wire Tags" to identify each other in the crowd. The
tags were bright yellow and said "U2Wire" on them to make
them easy to spot in a crowded, dark stadium. The tags got
to be so popular that the band even began to recognize them
and set aside a space next to the "B" stage for the
wirelings to congregate and watch the show without
harassment from venue security whatever their seat number on
their ticket said. A new design is being designed for U2's
tour next year.
Should Moby's tour be extended yet again and he continues to
visit each of Scott's individual hometowns, we should make a
tag so that we can identify each other at shows. Maybe a big
red tag with the white "play" triangle symbol. Like on the
inside of the Play cd. Simple. Easy to spot. And that way
maybe we can get to know each other a bit.

Question to those in the know,
I will be seeing Moby next Wed 10/25 and Fri 10/27. I want to get into the
sound check for 10/27. I figure the best way is to ask Moby or a staffer for
permission on 10/25. Can anyone describe what Moby's manager, or anyother
staff members look like?
Thanks! Caleb

Subject: (mobility) play & play b-sides
I'm sort of a psuedo-collector of moby cd's, so if this bores the list, my
bad :o)
Interesting note, while searching for the play & play b-sides 2 cd set, I've
noticed different cover art at amazon.com & cdnow.com. Both state it's a 2
cd set, but when I asked customer service at cdnow.com about why my
pre-order stated it was one disc, they didn't give me a very clear answer.
They just said, "Hey, you ordered play B-sides" which left me to imply they
would only be shipping one disc with the b-sides, which was still $19.99, or
whatever. seems unlikely they'd do that -- just wonder if anyone else has
pre-ordered a copy from anywhere else? Can you buy just the b-sides disc?
hmmmm. For reference, check the cover art & tracklistings here:

yeah her name is laura, yup she was originally from maryland...her major is
music business so she was interested in his management. apparently both
hybrid and moby have the same management, she got a business card and
possible internship which is pretty cool.
yeah there's no way to identify people from the list currently.

ep of acoustics, it would be pretty cool. Later
