  435. Hi I am writing a paper for my composition class about  the moby concert on 
  436. october 6, 2000 friday at the Aragon ballroom in chicago ill.  Could anyone 
  437. who went to that show tell me what they observed at the show- what moby was 
  438. saying to the audience, what songs he played, the audiences reactions and 
  439. descriptions, what you thought of the show, ect.  I would appriecate it alot. 
  440.  Me and my friend were there but my instructor wants me to get interviews 
  441. from you.  Thank s alot!  It was the best night of my life.  I will post the

  580. I saw Moby on the 8th at the Aragon.  I imagine it was a similar show.  I
  581. was front center, very close to Moby.  His energy was incredible.  He hit
  582. the stage like a lightning bolt with "Go"  and the adreniline rush was
  583. amazing for me.  It is really hard to describe the vortex one is swept into.
  584. Nothing else exists outside of the music and the moment.  The audience
  585. eventually became one massive thing until Moby threw his tee-shirt and one
  586. girl, 2 guys and myself had our hands on it and were starting to struggle.
  587. I let go, realizing that this was merely a physical manifestation of Moby
  588. and I had been distracted from the show.  His singer had the voice of an
  589. angel, strong and full of grace.  The other musicians were totally in sync.
  590. Certain moments stand out:  a fairly long acoustic lead into "Why Does My
  591. Heart..."  Moby was able to manipulate the sound until it became
  592. recognizable.  I started weeping and swaying, in a trance so to speak.  It
  593. was so beautiful.  Moby sang a very sensual tune (name escapes me, he asks
  594. if his lover can give him what he needs) and he stepped back into an azure
  595. light.  He looked into the audience, serious.  I began talking to him under
  596. my breath, my love felt so intense.  After this, more great mixes and
  597. frenzied dancing.  At the end of the show, he stood in silouette infront of
  598. a bright white light.  I wanted him to dive so bad!  I think my heart
  599. stopped.  I guess this is more of an audience reaction response.  I'd only
  600. started listening to Moby about 2 months prior to the show.  He is a
  601. brilliant musician, composer, mixer, entertainer.  Time will tell if the
  602. spirit I felt that night is true as his fame grows.  His spirituality is
  603. breathtaking both live and in recordings.  I am so happy to have experienced
  604. this, it was life-transforming.  Anne
