well, it's sad but true, Bodyrock has been used in a Labatt Blue commercial here in Canada last year, and Porcelain was used in a Bailey's commercial. at last year's Moby concert here, someone in the crowd asked Moby during his set why he let his song be used in the beer commercial, and he simply said he had NO control over it.
i was really disturbed over his music helping sell the poison that plagues our world, but it seems that the corporations always win in the end...sad but true...

i asked a few days ago about some current Moby news, and no-one seemed to reply, well i wouldn't ask if there was a webpage that would up date all the Moby happenings, that Moby online page isn't up yet and no-one else has any up to date news. maybe Bart you can fill me in on some happenings, tour schedule, latest releases, Moby writings to the list. actually, i would like to say that Brt's webpage is far the best i've seen, but maybe you should add a news section, think it would be kewl!
well take care,
duhherbivore
...i still can't believe Moby is coming to the MuchMusic Videos awards, i wnat to go, but i don't want to see all that other CRAP!!!, Moby doesn't belong there!

it ain't perfect, but it's fairly useful.
the fact that the record companies and management don't tell us jack shit

easy.

Hmmm, actually now that I think of it, alcohol wasn't a restriction in his
contract. If someone searches the archives they can find it, but he wrote
to the list once and talked about the restrictions he put on his music, it
can't be used to promote guns or tobacco products. Even if it doesn't
restrict tobacco, Federal law prohibits TV and radio commercials to begin
with, I don't see how his music could ever be used in any endorsement of
tobacco.

Now wait just a minute, this is purely YOUR opinion. There are billions of
responsible social drinkers in this world. I would HARDLY blame alcohol,
much less individual companies who produce it for the woes of the world.
Interesting that you don't hold the individuals who abuse alcohol
accountable and instead blame the companies who produce it.

I know the "Amphetamix" of "Go", but whats "Apmphe
Tamix"? Is that another Fall song? ;P
And yes, the I Believe version of Hymn kicks. It kicks
even more when mixed with Next Is The E and Dog Heaven
Lopez Mix (wink wink to the Thanks clique ;)
I also love the "This Is My Dream" version even more,
altho it sounds a LOT like "High NRG Protons" by Juno
Reactor. Same choral sample and everything.
Oh yeah, YOU GUYS ROCK!

- - -Ah-ha
- - -Inside
- - -Go (Apmphe Tamix)
- - -Next is the E
- - -has anyone ever heard the "I Believe" version of
Hymn?
(mixed/remixed, CD 2
track 2) Holy crap

Porcalain, but it's
by Rob

This is from a Sockheads post, and wow, and I didn't
even have to pay her to say this ;P
<<Ok then "Best Male Video" I think. If I remember
correctly Eminem won. I like Eminem, in fact I am in
love with him, but lets
face it, he didnt deserve that award. The one who
should have won that
category was Moby. That video is so beautifully shot
and it's
excellent. I cry everytime I see it because that
really is how those rest homes
are.....I love it.>>
Of course, then she says this and it makes me want to
puke.
<<And the
biggest upset of the night....Fred Durst...oh I can
hardly even type it
*holds back her tears*..my gorgeous and lovely Fred
Durst sang
with...with Christina Agui-crappa!
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and now my little
Fred has been contaminated because those geniuses over
at MTV were eating
Rotisserie chicken and thought "hey, lets put a rock
star who is so
awesome his awesomeness can not be contained in one
room (ok I dont think
thay said that) on the same stage with a filthy
dirtbag! Eureka!" Ok
Bubba, just relax! Relax! Ok, whoa, I'm done.>>
Actually, thats pretty funny, in a pathetic kinda way.
I'd still rather watch her than him. She can't sing
for shit, but she looks a whole lot better than him,
anyway...
why am i sitting in front of the computer when i could
be watching M2 right now....
