Subject: (mobility) i JUST MISSED Moby... (MTV AWARDS opening act)
While i was writing all that malarkey about my bedroom
closet, Moby was on MTV. I came back to the TV and he
had a nice red suit and he was holding a GORE
LIEBERMAN card, saying that he thinks he should talk
more about that cause he himself is pretty boring.
whatever. hes nommied (Best Male, which Wyclef and
Destinys Child are hadning out) and he's handing out
an award. and they didnt even mention him on the
commercial! suckers.
also, the new Modest Mouse album rocks. that is all.
ROCK!

"Dur Dur Detre Bebe" by Jordy comes on and they're all
like "Huh?" they dont say it but they got this look on
their face.... and then some generic "rap" tune I
didn't recognize is on and they're all screaming

Nothing says, "legitimate awards show" like MTV's VMAs.

knowing MTV the will play the awards from no until next year so don't be to
mad. well i thought i might tell you i just got rare B-sides and the go
collections pretty good if you ask me, awhile ago i also got moby songs
'93-'98 a lot of stuff i own but i thought it was worth getting. and i have
also recently acquired his album just titled moby, once again good, but then
what's to say any of moby's stuff is bad. wow that's a lot of CDs. Ok and one
final note has anyone found out more tour dates specifically in the central
Pennsylvania region?? im out to watch the rest of awards.
peace.

How do they even come up with these categories? That song was on Homogenic,
it was only reproduced on some movie, the video has nothing to do with the
movie, no scenes, no mention of it at all. What retards are running this
fucking show? I'm glad she won something, and I hope that she was smart
enough not to attend this banal hole of an awards show. How do they even
nominate/pick a winner?
Also, why is it that the artists always accept the awards? Quite often they
have very little to do with the actual video production at all. Why don't
the unnamed directors, producers and VISUAL artists accept the awards?

Subject: (mobility) the music critic guy was right!!!!!!!!
yup, Aaliyah won for best Female Video. And Ricky
Martin pronounced her name wrong.
No, Moby lost to Eminem. Damn. I was sure he would
win, before the nominees there was this guy saying
about how all the guys are shaving their heads. Since
Moby is the only one of the Best Male nominees to
actually have a shiny dome, I thought that was a hint
that he won.
Macy Gray won Best New Artist. Pretty good for the
field of good music I guess... And Bjork too, for Best
Vid From A Film, altho BLUR or SUPERGRASS or TOM & ED
wouldve been better choice, but at least it wasnt
Trent!
ROCK!

Subject: (mobility) Cribs!
Yup, Moby just gave birth to octuplets. Right.
Anyway, MTV showed a commercial for a show called
"Cribs" where we get to see inside the artists houses.
And Moby was on there, theyre gonna do an episode of
it w/ Moby! Yay!
"and this is the basement where Cat Power used to
perform!"
speaking of which, Britney performed "I Cant Get No
Satisfaction" and all I could think of was Chan
Marshall.... (hee hee they shoulda got her onstage and
made them do a duet!)
And also Chris Rock and some other guy dressed as
pimps and did a lame Chili Peppers tribute, where they
showed clips of all the RHCP vids a 5 year old would
recognize. Like, they existed before "Scar Tissue"?
and yes, even before "Under The Bridge"? God.
And Lars slapped a Napster sticker on some chick's
ass, and um, we got to see LL plug his album a jillion
times, and we got to see Macy Gray's bush.
ROCK!
