if you choose to do a drug, do it, BE SAFE, and DO NOT
let it affect others. It is YOUR choice. Everything
done in moderation can be safe, including preaching.
It's fine that you "don't understand people's need
to do so (drugs)", but how can you call it a "filthy
practice"? If you've never tried it, you're basing
your opinion on literature. That's fine, but "filthy"
is the wrong word for you to use. Just say you do not
agree. I've used plenty of "recreational" drugs.
I'm not unstable, I'm pretty damn content, I'm
married, hold a good job, and am VERY responsible.
But I guess I'm filthy, and discontent with the world
around me because I've experimented withthose dirty,
illicit recreational drugs. Maybe I should go to
jail!!! People do things. People abuse things.
People LEARN from things. People make mistakes. I'm
glad I tried Acid, Pot, Mushrooms, E, when I did.
Does that make me a lower human being than you?
Apparently so....

Hey, Tiffany here....
Im not sure about Motorolla, alot of their phones are analogue.
If your phone can send or recieve data (ie text messaging, caller ID,
E-mail, then its a digital. Benefits of working for a
Telecommunications/Mobile Network provider, discount phones! TEE HEE!
But: "BIG BURNT BROWNIES"! wouldn't ya know it..... I have a Nokia 6120,
dosent appear to be capable....
Guess Im stuck with lame ol' "William Tell" as a ringing option.
PLURGGH!
Its a hard road..........

Please note that your phone must work on a GSM network in order for you to
download these ringtones. Almost all digital phones in North America are on
PCS (CDMA or TDMA). Thus, if you're with AT&T, Sprint, or any other large
wireless provider, you're out of luck.
Yet another reason to move to Europe...

Just adding on another "Lyric Faux Pas"
That one's a classic misunderstanding of Hendrix Purple Haze.....
Im pretty sure he preffered to "kiss the sky"
Everytime I come in here, there's a whole new list of Tour dates for Moby.
He must be bloody tired by now! I read "Spin" a couple of months ago,
where it said he lost his temper on tour and kicked in a door, so he
decided to go home for a few days. Dunno if thats true or not, but I dont
really blame him for occasionally getting tired and grumpy, its been what?,
21 months on tour now?. Im wondering....
Do you think he gets a complete say to adding on more tour dates?
He's really working his butt off right now. I know he wants to please his
fans and I read he likes to tour, but........
Oh yeh, when's his B-day? 11 September? that makes him a VIRGO
HOORAH FOR EARTH SIGNS!!! (sorry, Im a Taurus so Im biased)
(Sorry if you dont give a rats ass about star-signs, Im not completely
obsessed with them, but some of the stuff about Taureans is pretty true.)
What's everyone here then?
Well, "Tiffany, Mystical Star Woman" (er, maybe not)
Must get back to work now, and continue the fight im having with my
rat-shit stapler!!!

Subject: (mobility) MOBY the album
Hey List! (har har) Its a long one.. 3 seperate parts.. here's a run down
for those who want to read a certain part...
1) Question about my new Moby cd.. everyone should read...
2) Question about Moby as a DJ...
3) Channel V Moby special for the Aussies...
I just bought a cd the other day called MOBY (self titled??). Not sure if
its ligit.. but on the cover there is half Moby and half skeleton or
something.. very art nouveou.. yeehar.
ANYWAY.. my question stems from the order of the songs.. if there is anyone
out there in Oz (or anywhere else) who has ANY idea of what I am talking
about.. can you PLEASE tell me if the order of the songs on the cover is
different from the order that it plays.. this is really bugging me.. and if
I've been ripped off in any shape, form or matter I will be spewing!!!
There are 12 songs on the cd and they are all there, but just in a funny
order..
PLEASE help me!!!! In other news... I bought the SAIN Magazine (published
by the Sanity record store) the other day as well.. only cos our man Moby
was on the cover (a pleasant change from the girl/boy band shit they have
been displaying as of late). There was not only a feature article on him
(which I will quote from at a leter date), yes, thats right.. there was
MORE.. they did a spread on the Top 10 DJ's of all time.. and my 2 faves..
Moby and Fat Boy Slim.. were numero uno and duo!!! (Another question.. if I
may be so bold... considering Moby doesn't really DJ at any of his touring
gigs.. is this accurate? Or does he DJ and I just haven't seen it? Or is it
just that he does it all in his wee Manhatten studio??? hmmm SO MANY
QUESTIONS!!!)
Yes.. but again.. there was another tid bit on Moby in another reature
artist article... I was MIGHTY impressed...
AND FINALLY!!!! For any Aussies out there with Pay TV (a luxury I am fast
becoming accustomed to).. Channel V is doing a replay of the MOBY Sydney
concert he did last month.. YUP.. 1 1/2 solid hours of *sigh* Moby..
ironically filmed further away from him than where I actually WAS..
WOOHOO!!! I'll be taping.. and sure to report at a later date.
Sorry for dragging.. I'll save the feature article for later..
PS: The pics they showed of him were SO PERFECT!!! I will describe them
later as well....
Take care,
Jess :o)

Here's sum more Lyric "Faux Pas".......
"Love,Sex,Intelligence"
was thought to be....
"Love,Sex and Cheddar Cheese" (how on earth?)
Lyrics from Alanis Morrisette's "You Oughta Know"
"The cross I bear, that you gave to me"
became....
"The cross-eyed bear that you gave to me" (we still take the piss out of
our friend for that one)
Lyrics from "Flashdance"
"Take your passion and make it happen"
was thought to be....
"Take your pants down, and make it happen" (yeh, you wish buddy!!)
I dont know the exact name of this song or the spelling, but I dont like
Michael Jacksons music anyway so.......
"Mama se Mama Sa Ma Ma Ku Sa"
became......
"Mamma said, Mamma saw my moccasins" (nice shoes baby!)
and finally.....
Lyrics from "Smoke on the Water"....
"Smoke on the water, fire in the sky"
was thought to be......
"Slow motion Walter, fire engine guy"
The beatles "shes got a tick in her eye" is still the best tho.....
And to make this Moby related....
in the Lyrics to Flower, it sounds like
something, something, "camping ground"
By the way, we spoke about religion a while back, I wonder what Moby's
thoughts are on Scientoligists ? probably nothing, but could someone
please tell me what this religion involves exactly?, something to do with
being derived from Aliens? yes/no? waaaay off track?
Im off to experience love, sex and cheddar cheese.
Boobye now.

Though I've never tried X specifically, I have been drunk on alcohol, smoked
Marijuana, and tobacco products, all of which I have never had pleasant
experiences, and will probably never do again, and for which I wish I never
had, and am ashamed of doing. I said using recreational drugs is a filthy
habit in general.
Even if I had never tried ANY drugs, and though I have never tried X I can
still form my opinion on my PERSONAL experiences and observations. I have
seen people sick and die from lung cancer from a life-time of tobacco. I
can smell their putrid stench when the even get within 20 feet of me, I can
see their leathery faces and stained teeth from smoking. I have seen people
puke all over themselves and in public and private bathrooms and other areas
because they were too drunk. I have seen a grown man almost passed out
drunk despite the fact he was the only person responsible for the small
children in his home. I have seen people spend their money, which they can
ill afford to do on these habits. I have seen people give up their
ambitions, opportunities and scholarships because smoking pot was a higher
priority, one of them now lives in a luxurious 1963 van. I have seen people
so wired on god knows what making fools of themselves, not bathing, not
taking care of themselves or others who they have a responsibility too.
Recreational drugs have no place in a heathy person, physical and mental.
> I've used plenty of "recreational" drugs.
> I'm not unstable, I'm pretty damn content, I'm
> married, hold a good job, and am VERY responsible.
Then perhaps you are the exception, but when perfectly effective
alternatives are available why do you feel the need to engage in
recreational drug use? Why not read a good book, meditate, meet new people,
whatever it does for you?
> People LEARN from things. People make mistakes. I'm
> glad I tried Acid, Pot, Mushrooms, E, when I did.
Why are you so proud of this fact? Why then do you not continue to do so?
Would you put this on your resume? Would you regail your children (if you
have any or will have any) with daddy's happy experiences? What kind of
message would this send to them? Do you want your children to "learn"
knowing that it may mean their life? What if they go on a bad trip and
accidentally kill themselves? What if they develop a psychological
addiction?
You don't sound like an individual that has put much thought into it.
