MOBY has announced details of a handful of UK shows for the end of the year
and will release his new single - a collaboration with KELIS, around the
same time, nme.com can exclusively reveal.
Moby, who last week confirmed he is to film a special one-off show for the
BBC TV series 'Later With Jools Holland', will release his new single,
'Honey', on October 9 through Mute.
The song, which originally featured on his platinum selling album 'Play',
has been re-recorded as a duet with R&B superstar Kelis, who will provide
vocals on the track. B-sides for the single are still to be confirmed.
In addition to the single, Moby is confirmed to play a series of live dates
in November. They are:
Manchester Apollo (November 12-13)
London Wembley Arena (18)
Tickets are not expected to go on sale until August 21, priced ú17.50.
Moby is also scheduled to make his last UK festival appearance of the year
at this coming weekend's V2000 festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and
Weston Park, Staffordshire (August 19-20).

I have heard his version of Devo's Whip It (it's on
the Come On Baby cd single) and I have to say that
it's easily the worst song that he has released (it
states that it's a Death Metal version, is there any
other version?)

I've seen this, it has been used as a t-shirt design
(It has the character as mention above with MOBYHEAD
written above it. I think it's the funniest shirt I
have ever seen).

another copy, seeing as how i can't return it. thanks.

Hi,
This could be very old news since it does takes a while for some stuff to
filter over here but I picked up a new mag yesterday, flicked thru and came
across Moby modelling for Calvin Klein jeans.
Weird.
I never thought of Moby as a CK kinda guy.
Having said that, he is standing there with his arms out in "Christ on the
Cross" pose looking suitably morose. With no shirt. Which struck me as funny
since I immediately thought "Ha! I'll bank the cheque thanks Calvin but
fully submit? NEVER!!!!"
That and "......mmmmmmmm bare chested Moby...."

thank you! I've just started it, its really a skeleton as it is right
now.. I agree, too many Bjork pages, not enough Moby.
After surveying all the other Moby pages I think I'll make mine specialize
in Bootlegs - I've got 8 bootleg mp3s on there now, 2 of them full sets (one
is 40 megs!!).
the 'Feeling So Real' one is funny - he plays it all-acoustic at the
beginning..
if anybody knows where to find some good bootlegs let me know, you can have
all that I've got. (just click below)
