Wait, Flipper was a punk groop Moby was in right? So
how can BT thank Flipper and not AR? whatever. I guess
they'd be different. Anyway, BT still rocks.
<<< And Never Gonna Come Back Down was #4 of the most

was surprised. The radio edit is weird, it seems like
they tried to make
it sound more like a normal radio song which made it
come out pretty
odd. >>>
Is this the same version that's on the Gone In 60
Seconds soundtrack? I was listening to that at WPKN
and it was a bit edited.... he doesnt say "Charisse"
at the end if I'm not mistaken.... hmmmmm....
also, the song is on the Billboard "Modern" "Rock"
charts now btw ;) it's not as high as Porcelain tho
(which is hanging out in the top 20!!!!!)
ROCK!
DJ PAUL, who is happy to see this list getting back to

Yeh, thats true, theres a site, that when I remember where I saw it, Ill let
you know, its a video clip of him live recently singing "porcelain" at one
of his concerts, in which he mentions those exact same words before he sings
the song. I think its about someone who is now a very close friend of his.
But please dont quote me on that! I dont want to upset people by stating I
know all about his life!. I wonder why it "couldnt be" and where "tell the
truth, you never wanted me" fits in. I know the line explains itself....
but, just a thought, (not trying for a total analysis) Anyway, its a
kinda sad, beautiful song. Im sure we can all relate to it in some way,
Y'know, past things gone bad?
Ave' a good one :)

Subject: (mobility) "...Speak to me baby...."
Hey,
I'm new.
Here tis.....
* Sarah
** 24 year old radio station brekky host and programmer
* New Zealand
** Have loved Moby since about 96/97 when I first played some his tracks at
the Varsity radio station I was working at.
* Love "Animal Rights", "Everything is Wrong", "I like to score" but truly
believe that "Play" is his best work. More polished, refined, ecclectic and
so intimate it's almost blush worthy.
* I adore "the sky is broken" and "why doe smy heart feel so bad" with the
latter striking me as a song about his faith and his belief in his place in
the universe as opposed to the mundane world of musical success.
** Am going to see him for the third time Thursday night (3 sleeps!)**
* Other bands etc.....Radiohead, U2, Massive Attack, Portishead, Cure, DMB,
REM, Plone, RBTG, asstd. classical - particularly Beethoven, Stravinsky and
Tchaikovsky, jazz and lounge - Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Frank, Perry
Como etc etc
** I'm definetly a cat person with a penchant for Vodka, roast potatoes and
sour worm lollies. I prefer the Stones to the Beatles, I think Pet Sounds is
phenomenal and teh first record I ever bought was "Dark Side of the Moon". I
was 9. I can shriek like Bjork and am a 5ft 11 blue eyed Irish/New
Zealander. (And no I don't have red hair!!)

Subject: (mobility) rare hymn "suffering" mix + underwater?
hey, I just got screwed over by dutch east on ebay,
they put up an auction for 2 rare moby hymn singles,
the european ones with lucky orgasm, up river mix etc.
they also mentioned a "suffering" mix which I have
never seen anywhere else. Anyway I won the auction
back in march and they kept stalling and saying they
would get back to me, and finally like a week ago I
got my money back, no cd's. I was so destroyed, i've
been trying to get those cd's forever, and then it
didn't go through. Does anyone know where I can get
them? If anyone has a coopy, sell it to me or, please
napster or send mp3's to me or something. I have the
vinyls but I want the digital versions. thanks.
by the way, where can I get a hold of underwater, I
saw it a while back on ebay for like 100.00, anyone
have a copy they would get to me for less? or know
where I can get it? Thanks all
