Allow me to retort,
well over at the TRL they seem to have removed
Bodyrock. Oh well, we'll just have to wait for
Porcelain (or request Travis instead ;) or, if you
want to be like me and my friends, you COULD request
"Star Worlds" by Sifl & Olly and yell at MTV in the
comments thing for not bringing tha damn show back on
yet. We're planning on doing it this weekend, Saturday
thru Monday 3 Eastern, so request the socks and yell
at them till yr face turns blue since the show aint
on! but that aint till this weekend so i'll vote for
Travis in the meantime ;)
Anybody else been hearing about Stipe from REM doing
4OUR tracks on the new Utah Saints record? thats
awesome. Apparently Stipe is a HUUUUUGE Utah Saints
fan. This has kinda been said before, but someone said
something about Moby werking with Tori so..... I think
REM and Moby should team up! I mean we know Stipe and
Moby are pals n stuff, so why not collaborate
musically? that would just be so fantastic..........
I've been listening to Murmur lots, i've just been in
a Murmur trip all month (altho the cd player in my
head has magically changed from Murmur to the new
Elliott Smith right as i started writing this....
everything means nothing to me.....)
Isnt the date at Pennsylvania that Rolling Rock
festival thing? When is that anyway?
ROCK!

maybe this was mentioned already...i've lost track of all the magazines moby
has been in recently, but he is on the cover of "q". it's the issue that is
out now in the states--june, i think. it's a pretty big article, lots of
pics. it talks about that fake "knob touch" game. even funnier now we know
it's not real! there's even a pic of moby wearing nothing but a sock. i
think there's a review in the back of reissues of some of his earlier
albums. good stuff!

Hey, you are not alone out there.:) I also am quite sick and whatnot, too
and am also a lover of Moby. Meaning, I love to listen to his music. I think
he is a very talented individual and if anyone disagrees with me, tell me
about it. Musical interests also include stuff by Oingo Boingo--boingoloids,
please write me-- and Sarah McGlachlin amoung many others. I am from Utah.
Happy trails,
Kim

Ya'll are all complaining about Moby not doing a concert anywhere
near you, well for me, living South Carolina (the backwaters of the
world), not only will Moby not be coming even remotely near me... ( If
you read this Moby, Please do a concert in South Carolina!!!) but almost
nobody else worth mentioning comes here either. :( I have to drive
like three hours to Atlanta for anything decent. (And I'm 15 so
transportation is a huge problem) But, gosh i wish Moby would do a gig
near here!

kidding. But a hug would be nice!
Well I gotta go, talk to you guys later!

I knew that might get someones attention!, Anyway, the reason Im writing is
I know some of the pleading letters as to where Moby should play are light
hearted, but, well, I think your pretty lucky in the U.S regarding Moby and
Touring, We only have ONE concert playing on the 20 July in New Zealand,
and for that I am truly appreciative, and lucky, especially since the venue
is like 5 minutes drive from my house!. Sure, it would be great if Moby
toured all your 50 states, all over the world in fact, but unfortunately
you cant please everyone, besides, if Moby was constantly touring, when
would he have time to do the thing he loves the most, and the reason we go
to his concerts in the first place, and that is Moby Making Music!!!. Dont
worry, im sure He will be in your town sometime, im sure he only wishes
there was enough time to do what he loves, and please his fans. In the
mean time....
Just put on his music LOUD and close your eyes.......
Ahhhhhhh! feel better already? :)
GO YOU GOOD THING!

Ummm.... Moby has ALWAYS, until recently, been
way more popular in the UK than in the states.
Singles still come out there first. Animal Rights
and The End of Everything both were released
there MONTHS ahead of their release in the US.
And Moby had his first top ten hit in the UK in
1991 with "Go". It sold over one million copies.
It has yet to do those numbers on this side of
the atlantic ocean nine years later.
But yes, his music is incredibly different and
individual, not to mention emotional and
compelling, which is why we all love it so dearly.

Welcome to the fold, then. Being a newbie, you
have a lot to discover.... and that's the good
thing about being a new fan to an established
artist, there's so much music out there. And it's
all new to you. Makes me kind of envious, really.
