Does anybody agree that it wpould be a good idea for Mute to re-release
Honey and Run On (with original b-sides), since the number of singles
released from Play, I think, is getting far too high now, but new fans
keep buying singles more and more every time, Moby is gonna hit number
one if they keep releasing stuff. But it seems unfair to release so much
off one album. By re-releasing them 2, older fans wouldn't have to shell
out more money, new fans would be happy with another singles and Mute
would make more money.
and on the charity Why Does My Heart feel So Bad, why not have the Gwen
Stefani verison of Southside as a B-side. (Ok, I like No Doubt)

I don't want to get into a major row here, but I know

I saw Orbital live in concert early 1999 and as part
of their finale, they played an Orbitalised Dr Who,
just before a fantastic version of Satan. And Dr Who
was shown on either BBC2 or MTV europe (can't remember
which) when they showed Orbital's performance at V99
(an outdoor festival here in England, V2000, has
Moby!!!), so I am not talking out of by backside here!

wow. according to MTV's "Top 20" page on their
website, the Bodyrock version 3 video is #7! and there
was a minus sign, indicating that it went down, it was
higher than that! so Bodyrock was like a top 5 video
on MTV. crap, who knew? i certainly havent been
watching it. i dont think it was on TRL even, but who
knows. who cares, im not watching that shit anyway. #1
is Eminem of course. Real Slim Shady, fucking awesome
song. too bad its one of like 3 good songs on the
album. that and Stan (which despite the lyrics is
almost beautiful) and maybe Drug Ballad. its a damn
shame, the album is really good, the flow is
excellent, the beats are impossibly good, but all the
lyrics....
alright thats enough. you know what im saying and none
of you really care. enough. everything is better now.

So I went to a local record store here today to look for the "Porcelain"
singles figuring they would be in the area by now here in Detroit.
I get there and not only does the store have a 20% off everything sale,
they have both UK "Porcelain" singles, Voodoo Child "Dog Heaven" and
"Demons/Horses" CD singles AND the UK version of "The End Of Everything" (I
already have the US version).
They also had the "Why Can't It Stop" and "Emptiness" Lopez CD singles but
I already had those.
Needless to say to pick up these 4 new singles and new full length was a
FINE trip to the record store :) Don't you love when you hit the jackpot
going to a record store?
Plus yesterday I got in the mail the UK 12" promo of "Natural Blues" with
the Olmec Heads mix as well as a promo CD sampler of Dusted (Rollo's new
project).
Great musical weekend!

Well may I say I am a MASSIVE Rollo/Faithless, etc. fan, as much as I am
Moby and I love the fact they have been involved together (Rollo & Sister
Bliss remixing a few Moby songs).
Being as how there isn't a lot of competition in the US as a
Faithless/Rollo fan it's pretty easy to track stuff down, be it locally or
over the Net. I'm quite proud of my collection.
All that is out there so far is a 2 song promo sampler, 12" and CD (I have
each) with the songs "Childhood" and "Want You".
Dusted's first full length CD "When We Were Young" comes out July 3rd in
the UK, it is not planned for Stateside release. Check out the Website
www.dusted-music.com for more info. The 2 tracks I have are very downbeat
and also very beautiful. This is more or less Rollo's solo CD but there
will be the usual gang of Cheeky Records artists, collaborators that Rollo
usually works with.
Sorry for the non-Moby stuff but hey all in the name of good music.
Speaking of good music Paul Van Dyk and Olive's new CD's are astounding to
my ears as well.

All Moby Fans who may potentially be converging on my beloved neck of the
woods,
Red Rocks is on the SW side of the Denver Metro Area...it takes about 20-30
minutes on a good traffic day to get from Downtown Denver to Red
Rocks...from Durango it would be about 7-8 hours depending on traffic. Since
the first snow won't have come yet it will be around 7. If anyone is
planning to go just know that the parking kind of sucks...and its not that
easy to find the right way into the park. Its a beautiful place. It is
supposedly the best natural ampitheather in the world. Everyone who is
anyone has played there. U2 made a video there (one of their older songs..I
wish I could remember which one), Blues Traveler plays there every
year...The Stones have played their, The Dead, Phish, Yanni, No Doubt,
Bush...you name it...most of the big name rock bands have played there at
one time or another...I've never seen a concert there (I live really close)
but I will be coming from school to see Moby. Many of the area high schools
actually have graduation at Red Rocks...but anyway...as said its in
Morrisson, but owned by Denver...near the bigger cities of Lakewood and
Littleton...
I am anxious to go...tix are 25 bucks...with all the fees I payed
32...online at Tickmaster.com
BTW, Tina: are you familiar with Durango?
