No, he didn't, V2, his record company did. As he has stated directly on
this listserv before, his contract gives his record company the freedom to
sell the rights to commercials and third parties. The only stipulation is
that his usic will not be used to promote or sell drugs, alcohol, or guns.

Wow, I never knew that Moby had a crystal ball that tells him which
records will be financial sucesses. If this was the case, perhaps mute
should have looked into it before releasing all his previous records.
moby has never been a big seller, look on billboard, his record has yet to
become gold, as far as I know in the states(500,000 copies)

All the tracks were taken from a compilation album, so old that I'm sure
that all the rights have run out(50 past the death of the oriignal
holder).
