Actually, it's the other way around.... Moby is
opening up for Bush. But, yes, we are lucky
bastards. Especially those of us who got to see
the show.

it SHOULD be the other way around though. (-: I am one of the lucky ones. Got
to see them in Ohio...I became a Bush listener while at the concert...i went
because I LOVE Moby (met him and spinbad) and ended up really enjoying
Bush/Gavin....met him but did not even know it WAS him!! I approached him
coming out of his bus (thinking he was maybe Moby staff/security ..hehe) and
asked him if he had seen Moby or if he was still in the bus.hehe..and went on
to elaborate on being a Moby fan...he HAD to know we hadn't a clue as to who
(ooo ahhhh Gavin!!!) he was! Anyways, it was worth a few laughs after a
security person told us we had just talked to Gavin!! Spinbad got a kick out
of the story.
Um sorry...I know I told this tale once before in april...forgive me....I'm
getting old. (-: darnit!
so this is goodbye....
silence is not the way...we need to talk about it...

That was my plan too. I took two of my teen daughters though and so it was a
50/50 thing. We wanted Moby..they wanted Bush. I'm glad I stayed though. I
like alot of types of music and even though I was out in the lobby for alot
of Bush's stuff i DID go back and watch him abit. I thought that IF you were
a Bush fan you were probably loving it . It seemed he was into it pretty
much.He interacted with the crowd alot . I haven't nothing to compare it to.
I did not even know what the band looked like or ever even saw a video before
I saw the concert. Anyways..bye

this argument makes no sense...sure there aren't many who would normally
frequent the Teen People chat room who appreciate Moby but there will be
some and others may learn to like him...but if the guy doesn't get exposure
and continue to get paid to make music...he will disappear, PLUS, NOW YOU

I beg to differ....Moby has always been around, as he says, he's always been
happy making music that he likes and he hopes others will like also...but i
don't think that he ever meant to get so much popularity that he would be
chatting on Teen People and having his songs played on Z100 in NYC...i don't
know..to be honest with you, i don't care..if he feels fine with it, then let
it ride....but let me tell you one thing..to see little 12 year old boys and
girls wearing girl and boy power t-shirts to go see a moby concert is going
to be very very disappointing because they are not there for the right
reasons....sure, moby makes money but when it comes to playing for the
people, he'll be playing for the wrong people...ok..much love..elie

Not to be insulting, but maybe young people would garnish more credibility
if they wrote and spoke properly. Over use of slang in real life, or HaXoR
spelling online doesn't exactly communicate intelligence, at least in my
view.
