Name: Kyle Reese
Age: 14
My Moby Collection: currently i only own "Play" [but i'm a bigger fan then that makes me sound like :-) ]
Where I first Heard Moby: I first noticed him when i saw the video for "Natural Blues" and was blown away....then in doing more reading i learned that he'd done a lot of other songs that i liked...and after seeing him in concert (a mind-blowing experience) i was hooked for life. :-)
Other artists i like: Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Kittie, Led Zeppelin, Hans Zimmer, Garbage, Bush, "Weird Al" Yankovic and pretty much everything else
Other Interesting things: I'm a Natalie Portman fan, I love Back to the Future and every one of Jim Cameron's or Luc Bessons creations, I'm a vegetarian, i write stories and screenplays, I play the guitar, the pianio and the accordian (don't ask) and i live in florida.

or not, I was in Taco Bell last saturday, sorry this is so late, and they
played bodyrock. Moby is now being played by muzak. They only play hits that
people listen to on each different station, the ones liked best. It was fun
eating my food singing with the song.

Subject: (mobility) Porcelain CDR
Got the 7tr. Porcelain CDR (the mother of the Porcelain 12" promo's!) today,
Here's the tracklisting with a brief description of each mix:
============================================
1. Rob Dougan Mix (6:36)
I must say Porcelain really isn't my favourite track from Play, but the Rob
Dougan Mix is how Moby's original Porcelain should have sounded! That's
right, I like this mix more than the original! Easy breakbeats with great
spacy
sound effects and even more melodic/harmonic than the original, but without
getting mushy. I'm never going to forgive Mute if this one doesn't make it
to
an official CD release :)
2. Album Version (3:59)
I think we know this one by now...
3. Futureshock Instrumental (8:36)
A standard Futureshock remix, for those who know Futureshock. Clubby beats
minimal melody, nice Dj-friendly clubtune for on the 12" vinyl.
4. Futureshock Beats (3:59)
Just the beats from the Futureshock Instrumental with some samples mixed
through,
which has an unexpected surprisingly nice sound to it!
5. Force Mass Motion Remix (8:32)
A smashing clubmix! Guaranteed to make you dance. I like that breakdown in
the
middle of the mix where the twinkling piano sound from the original
Porcelain comes
in. A great candidate for on the Porcelain Remix cd.
6. Torsten Stenzel Remix Version 1 (8:22)
Starts really strong with a solid pounding beat and bassline, but when the
Porcelain
melodie and samples get added it sounds a bit like elevator music, but that
soon gets
better when finally after 5 mins. a nice trancy sound gets added saving this
mix from
total boredom. All in all not a bad mix.
7. Torsten Stenzel Remix Version 2 (9:05)
More trance and more minimal than version 1, way better in my opinion, great
mix!
=================================================
I'm off now to encode these and hopefully they'll get uploaded to the FTP
site soon :)
