i was wondering if anyone on the list could help me on that one cause i've
done a french moby mailing list on my site (quite a funny list in fact) and
there's a guy on there who loves trance. And as he's very nice and as already
helped me for two or three things on my website i wanted to make him a md of
Moby related trance stuff. So i had:
NB Olmec Head & Katcha
Why does ....? Ferry Corsten mix (and maybe ATB)
Run On Plastic Angel
But what could i also put ? Thousand ? Go (the Mover mix) ? I'm not a trance
specialist so if anyone could help me that would be very nice.
NB is now in MTV Europe Facts & Videos. That rocks ! Though their comments
are not very interesting. But i learned there that Christina Ricci was
sharing an appartment at a time with Moby's girlfriend so i guess that's how
they met.

Might I recommend many of the mixes for All That
I Need Is To Be Loved. The Move (Electro Mix) is
quite nice. But those are just off the top of my head.

dave.n... you gave me quite a scare, there...n o t to belittle your
situation but we've all (?) been there, I think..
I'm not as young as most of you mobilities and perhaps I have a wider
perspective of life (only perhaps;) But, you know, it
d o e s get better. I feel much better about myself as a person and my
situation now that I'm well passed thirty than I did when I was supposed to
be young and not have a care in the world. Althrough my teenage years I
felt like an alien compared with my friends who couldn't think/ talk about
other things than boyfriends, make-up and other boring stuff. I listened to
music, read and painted so I was the total geek in comparison. Now, after a
couple of months of un-employment, I've been able to go back to school
(which I didn't finish back then) and get a degree in desktop publishing
which enables me to work with both computers and art. I'm not that familiar
with your education system, but here in the cold north (Sweden) we strongly
believe in a second chance for everyone. Even me!
And, to conclude this essay which is far too long, the thing is if it
hadn't been for M:s music that kept me concentrated during my studies, I
doubt very much that I would have made it.
To whoever ftp:ed the If things were perfect.mp3: Thanks! It's a favourite

What equipment do you use? I'm still wondering how people make beats.
Do they use keyboards/synths or software like Acid? Nice remixes BTW,
higher bitrate next time! ;)

first off, I emailed KEES for the first time in ages
(you know him, the guy obsessed with Frank Zappa? and
he used to call me Chester a lot? and he liked Boom
Boom Satellites and he was pals with Ryu etc.) and he
responded! anyway he says he's making a Ryu website,
where you can buy his cds!!!!!! he's got some pictures
of him aand stuff too, so thats gonna be exciting!!!!!
also, he's off Mobility and he says to go to
www.meisjes.com cuz he gets paid for promoting it but
um dont go there if yr in the school library, i must
warn you that...
anyway, on the charts PLAY jumps up to number
5ifty9ine, which paves a bit more ground for him and
for muzik of good taste in general ;) and also the
Macy Gray song is now number 7even which is kind of
cool. i think. anyway number 1ne on Heatseekers is the
Alice Deejay album :/ aybody heard this? the song "Do
You Think Yr Better Off Alone" is so damn annoying, i
couldnt imagine a whole album of it. is this like an
actual woman making muzik, like DJ Rap, or just some
toy of a producer? judging by the cover i'd say the
latter, like a trance version of Bow Wow Wow or
something.
anyway, ta!

Okay, so this is off and on topic.

I think starting numbers is wicked cool, seriously, I love it.

So this is kindaa after the fact, but I missed out on MOBY/BUSH, cause THE
MAN (MTV) only put them in one New England locale, and it was sold out by
the time I had the dough.
Any recordings of the providence one, or any of them. I figure security
was tight, just wondering though.

As Moby is making #1 in Uk and gets the fame he deserves, some nasty guys
"jump on the occasion" (can we say that ?) and sell on ebay "Best of" CD-rs.
Greatist hits, Platinum Collection... IT IS NOT GOOD TO BUY PIRATED COPIES !
Take care mobiles !
matthieu
Note: In fact if i'm saying that, it's just because i haven't seen yet nice
Moby live cdrs and i already have all the stuff they're offering on the
compilations :) . But if it's not too expensive, i think it's a good way to
start for those who wants to have a wide range of Moby's music after buying
Play.
