Not sure, something really ridicolous like Hanson's MmmBop or of that
sort.
2. Idea to comment on: 200bpm punk cover of Natural

someone actually singing)
Cool possibility
3. Is Moby aerodynamic? see, some kid in my English
class came in with his hair shaved off (he looked a
bit like Moby if you looked at him from the side!) and
someone said he was aerodynamic ;) so is Moby
aerodynamic?
Of course.

19
5. How old is Moby?
35?
6. What was the last album you saw at a store (or

Everything is Wrong w/ Underwater
7. What's yr fave remix Moby did of another artist?
David Bowie's Dead Man Walking (Moby Mix 1) ~ the house mix is boring.
8. If it's not up in the ftp archives, could you

It's there
9. Do you like hummus?
Yes, especially on Pita

Anything but "Regulate" by Warren G & Nate Dogg. I don't think he could do

Maybe if I had some Jolt to drink while listening... sure!

Yes, he is. The smooth dome provides minimum air friction / wind resistance,
thereby allowing a safe, turbulence-free flight from the stage's edge to the
waiting hands of adoring fans.

34, I think.

Hmm. None. I've been happy with what I've bought, missed nothing I
regretted, so.... how about things I'm kicking myself for buying? The last
bad buy I had was Plastikman's Consumed. But that's not the information you
seek.

Miserablism (Electro Mix), Pet Shop Boys

Subject: (mobility) Grammy question / Natural Blues 2nd video !!!!
hi newbies and welcome down here, hi oldies.
First a question about the grammy. Did Moby appeared another time after
presenting the Duo thing award ? Because i don't have the end on my tape (i
forgot the incredible number of ads an american show could have). Was very
cool to see him in a smoking next to the big man Micheal Clark Duncan (soory
if I maybe mispelt it). Isn't he the prisoner in the Green Mile movie ? Fun
to see Moby, not very thick and tall next to this big guy. A bit like Laurel
& Hardy. Unfortunately the show was translated in french so there's an
horrible voice over Moby speech... Too bad :(
But the thing i really wanted to share is that i saw a new Natural Blues
video today on Mtv (Europe). It was during MTV new, a show that i usually
look not because i like it (a lot of grunge, rap and "rap-metal" - that's how
we call Kid Rock and alike clips), but because it just before Friends.
However this time i fell on Moby - Natural Blues and the clip was the film of
Moby's performance of Natural BLues during a concert that wasn't Paris one. I
don't know if like Bodyrock different videos will be aired but MTV: New
usually plays clips and not live performances so this may be another video.
Of course as unlucky as i am i found this gem when it had already began so i
didn't tape it. But watch MTV:New you never know...
All for now.

guy that a cd-recorder that could read it. I want to see the videos
!!!!!!!!!!!"

1. Name an ideal song that Moby should cover.
I like the Air Le Soleil est pres de moi idea, even more after The Whispering
of the wind (mostlybecause of the distorted voice that is like an AIr
trademark. That proves than Moby can -and should :) - cover it!). I really
that they should remix each other (and i'll be tremendously happy as they are
my two favorite "music makers")
Moby would cover Le Soleil est Pres de Moi and Air would cover Inside by
adding some vocals....
2. Idea to comment on: 200bpm punk cover of Natural
Blues? (not with the original vocal samples, with

Soon in Moby's concerts :)
3. Is Moby aerodynamic? see, some kid in my English
class came in with his hair shaved off (he looked a
bit like Moby if you looked at him from the side!) and
someone said he was aerodynamic ;) so is Moby
aerodynamic?
Obviously he's aerodynamic.
4. How old are you?
18
5. How old is Moby?
Older than i am
6. What was the last album you saw at a store (or
ebay, or somewheres) that you didnt get and are
kicking yourself for not getting?
I don't know. I don't remember. But i'm kicking myself now because the first
time i bought a Moby cd was in Holland and it was Animal Rights and they had
some other nice stuff (such as promos, 1979 mix ..) but i didn't buy them
because i didn't know him really at the time and was keeping my money for a
soccer manager game that i never played because it was in Dutch only.
7. What's yr fave remix Moby did of another artist?
I like The Hands on yello - Lost again remix very much.
8. If it's not up in the ftp archives, could you
possibly add it there?
No because of my crappy connection and because i can't stay a long time on
the net (on the same line than the telephone and expensive)
9. Do you like hummus?
I don't know.
10. What do the Foo Fighters, Bjork, Moby, and the Wu
Tang Clan have in common?
They were not nominated in the Revelation of the Year Grammy Award with
Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera (though Moby is a true 1999 music
revelation, at least down here).

so i read this and thought to myself "i think i've done that while
screwing around..." so i got a little bored this evening and recorded a
punk cover of natural blues at around 200 bpm. it's mostly single takes on
a 4-track, so don't expect all too much of it, and fucking hell, it's
punk, it's allowed to sound raw and shitty (not to mention that i shredded
my singing voice last night writing another punk song anyway)
anyhow, i'm uploading my cover to the ftp. glean is me. it's what i go by
fer punky shite. i go by phonicoid fer electronica shite. if anyone wants
to check out some demos of my origional punk tunes, drop me a line, and a
reminder to all that my techno cd's available, http://www.phonicoid.com/
fer details.
and fer those out of the loop, the ftp's at ftp://129.93.212.27/ and the
file's currently in upload/ as glean-natural_blues_punk_cover.mp3 but who
knows if it'll get renamed and moved or what.
cheers,

Subject: (mobility) Pointless Answers to a Pointless Poll =)
My answers to Phizzo Paul's poll...
1. Name an ideal song that Moby should cover.
Paranoid by Black Sabbath (a techno version... it's already got a great
repetitive hook... I'd love to hear a electronic version of the opening
guitar riff...)
2. Idea to comment on: 200bpm punk cover of Natural Blues?
Ummmm. No. Well, not for me, anyway. =)
3. Is Moby aerodynamic?
Only if bending down in the wind. And maybe if wearing a dunce cap. =)
4. How old are you?
28
5. How old is Moby?
I was thinking around 33, but the majority seems to think 34 or 35.
6. What was the last album you saw at a store that you didnt get and are
kicking yourself for not getting?
I dunno on this one... I don't have many instances like that.
7. What's yr fave remix Moby did of another artist?
I'm partial to the Speed Freak remix, but then again, I haven't heard too
many, and the ones I really looked forward to (Metallica, Smashing pumpkins,
Opus III), I disliked.
8. If it's not up in the ftp archives, could you possibly add it there?
Someone else already answered this one... =)
9. Do you like hummus?
Apparently, I am one of the few vegetarians I know of that hasn't even tried
hummus. And I even worked at a major health food store for over two years!
Crazy, old, unadventureous me...
10. What do the Foo Fighters, Bjork, Moby, and the Wu
Tang Clan have in common?
All of these artists have both vowels AND consonants in their names...
- - Chip in Memphis <--- who was kinda excited about seeing a fellow list
member (not to mention a bootlegger now!) at the show in Jonesboro, AR...
Only to realize he's in Florida now... =(
