  48. Alright, what the hell, I just bought the "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad"
  49. Maxi single import from the UK, it has two additional unreleased tracks,
  50. Flying Foxes(which I know is also available from the Porcelian maxi single),
  51. and "Princess" which isn't available anywhere else; But this single was
  52. produced by MUTE!!?!?!?!  Is mute still handling all of his UK releases and
  53. V2 is everywhere else or what?!@?!?!  I thought that the reason he went with
  54. V2 this time was because he had a falling out with Mute and Elecktra?
  55. What's going on here?!

  71. Mute handles all distribution to the UK.  Whether
  72. this is because of contract requirements or
  73. because Moby likes Mute is unknown.  Elektra was
  74. the distributor over in the States, and Moby
  75. moved to V2, which also gave the option of
  76. sending these items to other places in the world.
  77.  As for V2 handling anything after the contract
  78. is up with Mute is unknown.
  79.  
  80. However, I would like to see a singles set
  81. similar to Underworld's released by V2 anywhere
  82. in the near future.... :)

  133. Where you first heard Moby or how much of a fan you are

  135. I first heard about moby during the time of his "Animal Rights" Album.
  136. Having heard his name mentioned on the raido a couple times and hearing 
  137. "Thats When i Get my Revolver" I thought I would pick up "Animal Rights" 
  138. when going on my CD shopping sprees that I tend to do.
  139. I'm always willing to try something new when I go out (which has led to many 
  140. pleasent surprises and a few dissapointments) and I'm happy to say that Moby 
  141. was an INCREDIBLE pleasent surprise. The album struck some sort of chord in 
  142. me..it felt so raw and pure to me that I was instantly hooked to it. My 
  143. particular favourite aspects of Moby's work like in his amibient tracks. Not 
  144. ever had I heard such beauty and honesty in an instrumental piece. I 
  145. listened to Animal Rights nonstop for about a year or so, unknowing there 
  146. were other Moby albums out there. A friend of mine had "Everything Is Wrong" 
  147. and let me borrow it. Although not the dirty-guitar sound of "Animal 
  148. Rights", "Everything Is Wrong" held an overall up-tempo that kept my head 
  149. bobbing and enthralled me with more of his lovely ambient work.
  150. I was definitely hooked to this music. I found "Moby:Ambient" in a record 
  151. store approximately 4 months later thinking it would be exactly what I 
  152. needed more of. And indeed it was. When "Play" came out I had high hopes for 
  153. it..and as most ingenius artists do with new albums..is they evolve thier 
  154. style. Moby has done this evolution brilliantly. With more enchanting 
  155. ambient tracks and bluesy tracks, it has me PLAYing it alot. (sorry for the 
  156. stupid pun. ;)

  458. looking for it and the only issue they had was the one with buckcherry.  then 
  459. i went to a nice convenience store and they had 2 copies with moby!!!  so, if

  553. moby disk is just that, "moby disk" moby's enhanced cd. (not that it's the
  554. only enhanced one, a couple singles have been too, but it's the only one
  555. where the enhancement was the primary draw)

  557. not all cd-rom drives will play enhanced cd's, some are too old, or cheep,
  558. or just plain incompatible. if yer on a mac i think it's
  559. software-upgradable to support milti-session, pub pc hardware's just kinda
  560. left unto itself, unless it's firmware upgradable, which is rare fer older
  561. or cheeper drives. if it doesn't work, but other enhanced cd's do, try
  562. another copy of it. if it still doesn't work, try another computer.
  563. there's a rediculous ammount of variables that can effect enhancement
  564. playability.
