alright heres a pointless survey!
What Simpsons song should Moby cover???????
Because you all know there's gonna be a Simpsons
tribute cd out sooner or later, if there isn't one
unoficially out already, like the Weird Al tribute
"Prosthetic Lips" (long out of print) or the upcoming
S&O tribute I'm on......or our own Thanks and upcoming
Thanks 2!!!!!!
I say he should do one from the Sherrie bobbins
episode, or the Itchy and Scratchy and Poochy Show
theme (thats like the best episode ever, cuz it
totally rips apart the simpsons' loyal fanbase).....
or hell, how bout a death polka ska version of "Do The
Bartman"?
also, is it true that Keoki was in the Simpsons once?
i've heard that somewhere.... of course, I've met some
people who say Keoki is a total Nazi and he's all
evil.... i dont know shit about him, so dont bash
me!!!
well Moby being on the simpsosn or covering the
simpsons or sumthin would be fab.
i'd also like to hear him cover something bye TMBG,
maybe "They'll Need A Crane"? nah, that wouldnt mix.
S&O covering TMBG would rock, but Moby and TMBG are
just so different it wouldnt werk. how bout TMBG doing
Moby? something from Animal Rights maybe? nah...
Animal Rights is good, but its too nont funny, not
very TMBG like......
whatever. bye!!!!!!

Cool pages, Bart! A question for you: Isn't the Eskimos & Egypt song Moby
remixed called "Fall From Grace?" I know there was a Regressive mix of that,
but I've never heard of a Moby remix of "Anybody."
I just got the Westbam single I'd been discussing w/ you privately, and the
Paul Yates mix might just be named after Paul Yates. The credit for
additional remix and production is Moby. In contrast to the earlier negative
comment about Westbam's 'We'll Never Stop Living This Way' album, I like it.
I like the goofy electro noises and the personality exuded by their liner
notes. They seem to be very likable both musically and personally.
I also got my WDMHFSB singles today! Awwlright!
A few items missing from the discography, in case anyone can benefit from
said info...
There's another version of the Bam! Bam! Bam! single that has the Moby mix
and the Paul Yates mix, and it's only 3 or 4 tracks, and the liner sleeve is
light yellow or light orange in color. When I first started buying Moby
stuff, I passed on it because I figured I'd never see another 2CD Animal
Rights. Whoops.
There's a Sun 12" of John Lydon's w/ the Moby "Grave Ride" remix. It also
has Leftfield and Chembros mixes of other Lydon songs on it.
There's a Jon Spencer "Talk About The Blues" 7" released by Mute w/ "Wait A
Minute" as the b-side. It's either a red or orange 7". (I have 4 colored
JSBX 7"s, so it's hard to remember which is which)
There's a single UK 12" of OMD Remixes that has the 7AM and Hard House mixes
of "Souvenier" by Moby, and the OMD vs. Sash! mix) of "Enola Gay."
I have all of the above except for that Westbam I foolishly passed up, so
I'll get the information you need for the discography.

Yes, the tracklisting on the CD I have makes you think that it is a mix of
"Fall from Grace". This is what is written on the paper inlay of the CD:
========================================
Eskimos & Egypt
FALL FROM GRACE
1 Beatmasters seven inch
2 Original
3 Anybody *
4 Regressive mix
5 Beatmasters graced elic mix
* = Exclusive track, female vocals by Charlemagne
=========================================
But the Regressive Mix doesn't have ANY samples from the song
'Fall from Grace', instead (as you can hear on my website) it has a
vocal sample from the song 'Anybody' so I came to the conclusion
that this has got to be a remix of 'Anybody'. This is the only E&E mix
I have so I can't compare them with the other mixes....
>I just got the Westbam single I'd been discussing w/ you privately, and the

Is it like any of the Westbam mixes on my website?

Could you mail me the info if you can find the time? Then I can get it
to my website and to moby.org (If Dan has the time to update his site,
because he didn't even post my last update with the WDMHFSB singles)

i'm a new moby fan so i only have "animal rights" but
i fully intend on getting all his cds. i first heard
about moby in a review in one of my magazines and then
saw him on tv and loved his music. my favorite band of
all time has to be "live" and then of course there is
"moby" my favorite solo artist. that's about it.

Subject: (mobility) MOBY AT ROXY!!!!!
hi guys, just wanted to let u know how last night's show in nyc went... sorry
it's a little long. moby gave a phenomenal performance as usual and ive
never seen his show as packed as it was last night. the crowd was good
overall, but in the beginning got a little crazy. he came down from the
stage at one point and shook people's hands. and when he got to me he
remembered me and kissed me on the cheek! the best part of the night was
when one of moby's assistants gave me passes to the after party and i almost
dropped dead! it was great b/c it was this small room where u got to be so
near moby and there were only 25 people in the room. the wierd thing was
that not many people were going up to him. so i went up to him and he signed
6 ticket stubs for me and we talked.
i said he was great on letterman and even looked a little shy... he said b/c
it was like 50 degrees in the studio. i told him he looked cute on the cover
of "paper"... he said he looked like a martian. other things he said : he's
having a ball touring esp since his bandmates were great, he's had alot of
yummy vegan food, he'll be back in nyc in 3 weeks for 2 days(not performing),
will be playing nyc again in march, joked around and said he wasnt vegan
anymore...
i wont bore u guys anymore but just wanted to say i had the time of my life
and still cant believe i got to be so close to him and talk to him for a long
time. at the end he gave me 2 strong, long hugs and held my hand for a few
seconds til we parted. he is the most beautiful man. ~animal lib, vegan

it is a small club on Long Island, in Plainview off exit 48 I think.
They put up no barriers so you are right up on the stage and usually the
shows are only about $15. It has a balcony and kinda about the size of
irving plaza..I will be in new orleans, so I won't be able to go..if ya
