yeah $23 is a bit pricy but it's soooo worth it. i guarantee you wont regret
it! this will be my 5th time seeing moby in nyc since june! and every show
just gets better! as far as meeting him after the show - slim chance... he's
always at some after party. u can probably catch him while he doing sound
checks. he is absolutely beautiful.

actually 3 45
see last night on the electro circus (the techno show
they have on radio 104 saturday nights), they had a
special extended edition, which ended at 5 am. at
around 3:30-3:45 or so, he played a bunch of moby
tunes! he played Hymn (I Believe) (whats the
difference between this and Help Me To Believe fro
self titled?) this is the same track thats sampled in
"Choose Yr Jesus" from the tribute cd! the first time
i ever heard it besides that! but he faded it out when
it came to this acid part at the end, and it was
weird, it was like just dead ambience for like a
minute, like it was a song loading up, then
simultaneously it was the ending to ATINITBL (MV) from
Move and the opening beats to BRING BACK MY
HAPPINESS!!!!!! rock! so i was jumpin out of my bed
raving at 3:45! he played sum freaky stuff too, one
track that sounded EXACTLY like one of the trancy
mixes of "You're Not Alone" by Olive, with that
symphonic part, you know, if you know the song? exact
their was this voice saying "free your mind" or
sumthin........... weird.
i didnt even tell you guys that JOSH WINK was djing on
the show for the first 2 hours! except i didnt know
cuz i was coming home from Riverside and watching
Python those 2 hours............ seee there was this
big rave thing at the Hartford Civic Center last night
called ALIVE and Wink was djing there i guess.......
and like a shitload of other djs, Freq Nasty was also
at the electro circus, and then a whole ton of djs
were there just poppin inn, he said there were more
djs there at the radio station than at a rave, or
sumthin. crazy.
anyway the best part is, i know what SASHA's real name
is! yes, at around 4:45 am he played a white label
trane record from Automatic recrds Uk (i think) which
sounded suspiciously a lot like Xpander by Sasha, and
then he played Xpander, and then he said that since we
were all listening to the radio at 5 am, he might as
well tell us what Sasha's real name is. It's Alexander
Coe, for those who care. so if u ever see Sasha, say
"Hey Alexander whuts up!" cuz not too many folks know
his real name...... but now you do!!!!!!!! so tell all
yr friends and crap
right im gonna get sued ack bye!!!!!
ps: on MTVs hard rock A-Z videos they played
Anthrax/PE "Bring The noise" then they played BAD
BRAINS!!!!!!! when the hell does MTV ever play Bad
Brains!?!?!?!?!? i just sed that cuz moby raps "BTN" a
little live in concert, and he loves the Brains. so ROCK!!!!!!!

i had honestly never heard of this rule (don't wear the tshirt of the band
you're seeing to their concert) until i saw that forgettable movie PCU.
although i had never done it myself, i never looked down at my friends who
wore *that bands tshirt* to *that bands concert*.
but what about all the people who go to the concert, buy a concert tee,
and then put it on there? is that the same thing or is it just a matter of
convience? (holding onto a tshirt vs wearing a tshirt vs shoving it into
your
or your friend's bag).
what about everyone else's views? is there really a hidden rulebook of
what to do at a concert that i just never got to see a copy of? :)
man.... 10am on a sunday morning... what am i doing up this early?
and why am i answerign email? don't mind me. just talking err... writing

thats wierd, i guess i havent noticed that little so called rule.
a couple years back when Filter was touring with White Zombie, a bunch of
people
including myself bought Filter t-shirts at the arena and wore them on the
spot.
"I'm a fan I'm a fan!"
shirt still fits!

It is a little faus pas. Hardly anyone else seemed to be
wearing Moby t-shirts. I was thinking I wouldn't, but then
again, I felt like it, so I couldn't really give a toss
what anyone else thought or thinks.
Anyways, I don't think there were that many Moby fans, coz
most people carried on getting last orders at the bar, or
were too busy doing other things, when he came out to meet
people.

move single (first one I got, hooked me)
Animal rights
PLAY
bodyrock single
buncha other singles
I think I have more, I can never remember

after seeing him live, or just listening to his music
other artists:NIN, early prodigy (like around the time they toured with
moby), DJ shadow, sneaker pimps, Beasties, DynamixII, longneck, GNR!!
other info:I'm from central MA, USA, and I personaly think it is very
cool that moby reads this list.

I haven't seen a mind spelling concert from the man himself yet.
He's coming to New Zealand soon, Auckland and Wellington, I'm hopefully
going to the Wellington concert on November the 16th, so I've got a bit of
time to get all the way across the country with a few mates that I
converted into fans. No Moby T-Shirts though. Don't want to look tooooo
eager aye. Not that travelling all the way across the country shows that I
reallllllly want to see the concert. Might wear a Marilyn Manson T Shirt
so people think I'm Fucking Hardcore (Sarcasim) Is that spelt right?
I can't wait cause it's just after finals, then I'm off on the road in our
Mystery Machine on a joyous adventure.
Does he come out to meet people after every show or what?

I don't think so, I think this supposed "rule" is one of the biggest pieces
of crap I've ever heard :) I've seen tons of people wearing T-shirts of the
artist I'm seeing from past tours, etc. All the Prince concerts I've seen
over the years, there's always a bunch of people wearing T-shirts from past
tours, albums etc. At the REM show I saw this year same thing. And yes, at
the Moby show I saw this year, again same thing. I certainly didn't see
anybody pointing these people out or making comments.
And yes there were lots who bought "Play" t-shirts at the show who put them
on too, me included as I didn't want it draped over my shoulder for fear it
would fall. And this supposed "fashion rule" never entered my mind ,
frankly I've never heard of such a thing. Pretty silly to me.

Amen, Robyn. When I read that she was only 13 years old my jaw nearly
dropped.
God bless DJ Skittles, there is actually hope in today's youth.:) I'm
always going off about how musical tastes are just at an all time low with
all this teen obsessions with Britney Spears, the umpteen million boy bands
and their ilk and here's someone who's into not just Moby but other
electronic greats like BT, Orb, Orbital and others. It took me until I was
28 to discover Moby, DJ Skittles you're way ahead of me in the game. And
here I thought I had cool tastes :)
