  43. I always knew we had vegans and veggies on the list, but I always thought 
  44. they were a minority! I remember last time the subject came up there were 
  45. lots of folks defending being carnivorous and citing the course of 
  46. evolution. Anyways, this is more of a survey than a debate this time. It 
  47. seems the ranks are swelling! It's nice to see that Moby's ideals have 
  48. effected some of you. I've been toying with the idea of vegetarianism for a 
  49. while now, but I currently eat meat, poultry, and shellfish. (I hate fish) I 
  50. have noticed that after a barbeque I feel sluggish for a few days and after 
  51. a day of nachos and quesadillas I feel light and energized. Makes me think.
  52.  
  53. Anyways, my point is, Joseph, that you'll find that you won't be judged 
  54. harshly or negatively for being a meat-eater. We have all different sorts of 
  55. people from all over he world, and I must say we're a tolerant crowd, so 
  56. make no apologies.

  77. been going to kareoke every Wednesday night for a while with Michael Stipe. 
  78. Also Stipe took lots of pictures of Moby in drag and in the bathtub for some 
  79. obscure magazine whose title escapes me now. Anyway, kareoke is good, 
  80. harmless fun, nothing to ashamed of, unless (gasp!) you're SOPHISTICATED. :)

  330. is "TRENDY" that doesn't mean you can discount it.  If Moby got really
  331. popular (as is bound to happen) and it was "TRENDY" to like him would 
  332. you stop?

  334. Not eating animals is simple.  It doesn't take time to work around, it's
  335. something you can do easily just about anywhere on the globe and I think
  336. we're all smart enough to realize that taking the live of another being
  337. pointlessly is just selfish.  I just don't see how anything else can be
  338. said (unless we brought in the environmental, social & health benefits
  339. to eating lower on the social chain).

  383. 1979 remix disco mix?  I talked to moby about it in st. louis and he told
  384. me it was quite beautiful.  I'm dying to hear this.  I asked him about
  385. plans to release it and he never gave me a straight answer.  I remember a
  386. rumor once that he was going to take all the pumpkins samples out of it
  387. and just release it himself.  
  388. If anyone has a copy PLEASE let me know
  389. I will gladly trade mass quantities of bootlegs for it.
