i am a vegan and i have heard that some sugar companies refine sugar =
with animal products, so you are correct. you just don't know which =
ones are and which ones are not. you can totally eat unrefined sugar =
(like sucanat, sugar in the raw, all that stuff). keep in mind that =
table salt is diluted with dextrose, which is refined sugar. it really =
sucks for eating out. a true vegan must prepare all of his own food, =
unless he or she can find a vegan restaurant. luckily for me the one =
vegan restaurant in dc that uses only sea salt is a mile from my house =
in beautiful vienna virginia.
i doubt the baked goods at work are vegan other than the sugar, are =
they? no eggs or anything?
there are so many things you have to watch out for as far as being a =
vegan. i have a rippin recipe for vegan chocolate chip cookies made =
with maple syrup if anyone wants it!
let's relate this to moby... i wonder how hardcore of a vegan moby is? =
does he avoid sugar and salt?

Okay I have a question: Do any of the vegans here avoid eating =
sugar? I
have a book that says that sugar is usually filtered using charred =
cattle
bones, but it doesn't give any suggestions as far as divining which =
kinds of
sugar are filtered that way. Anybody have any tips, other than =
"just quit
eating sugar"? I'd like to do that, but we sell baked goods where I =
work.
And they call out to me. Anyway :)
=20
Baby steps, my friends, baby steps,
Laura!

I think a good novel would be where a bunch of men on a ship are =
looking for
a whale. They look and look, but you know what? They never find =
him. And
you know why they never find him? It doesn't say. The book leaves =
it up to
you, the reader, to decide. Then, at the very end, there's a page =
that you
can lick and it tastes like Kool-Aid.

They are...they're just in the form of MiniDiscs and you have to pay more
money to have MiniDisc players and they come in little square holders so that
they can't get scratched very easily. I once had that weird Coca-Cola 3" that
came out a LONG time ago and my CD players always spazzed out whenever I put
them in there...they started spinning REALLY fast and then slowed down...but
I LOVE MiniDiscs for some reason.

you go heidi! by the way, calcium from milk is a lot of hooey. the =

hey folks!
the awards shows were complete successes. of course,
nobody showed up, the presenters and hostess not to
mention the winners were not present, plus my closet
was already booked that night, to hold my stuff, like
it always does......
but it was fun anyway. the only thing that really
happened was about an hour after the shows were
scheduled to begin, i woke up and Rod Richardson
(WPKN) was playing "Fingertips" by They Might Be
Giants woohoooo!!!!!
in case u dont know, at the end of TMBG's album Apollo
18 there is a suite of song fragments called
"Fingertips" that are just these like 3-10 second bits
of songs, that make absolutely no sense and are often
hilariously silly. so i'll be quoting these and crap.
alright? bye!!!!!!
