  38. I must say, I'm beginning to like Norman Cooks music, I got the rare
  39. album from Beats International called "Let them eat bingo" and the
  40. album Norman did under the name Pizzaman called "Pizza Mania"
  41. together for only $6 at a sales bin at a local record store.
  42. Not bad huh?  These are both WAY better than the stuff he released
  43. under the name Fatboy Slim!

  55. This is a funky kinda rap, I don't like it much though...

  77. It covers EVERYTHING that has to do with electronic music, it had
  78. short interviews (often only a few sentences) with dozens of electronic
  79. artists like (of cource) Moby, Westbam, Kevin Saunderson, Mixmaster
  80. Morris (a cool bald guy just like Moby), the guy that invented the MOOG
  81. synth, Juan Atkins, Derrick May and a whole bunch of music journalists/
  82. reviewers, Afrika Bambaata, Carl Cox....etc etc

  256. That's how it was when I saw Moby @ last summer's University of Chicago 
  257. concert. There was no promotion or public listing, it was a school-only 
  258. thing. I managed to get by the entrance since the ticket girl was flirting 
  259. with me, but most everybody had to show school IDs. I was lucky to get in so 
  260. easily, otherwise I would have been listening from outside the courtyard, 
  261. and listening through brick building, I imagine, is rather difficult. :)

  292. the detroit show was spiff. moby left stange and came back on to the crouds 
  293. roar four times. on top of the usual stuff he played southside, smoke on the 
  294. water, walk this way, and paranoid [SABBITH!!!]. he didnt play revolver or 
  295. run on. it was a great show and lasted about two hours. well worth the $17. 
  296. i got to meet him afterwards. he is quite the charmer. i felt bad because he 
  297. had his glasses on and i kept on thinking of spud from trinspotting. he must 
  298. of thought i was a loon.

  373. don't quote me on that.... i read an email earlier (can't remember whose) but it
  374. said they were out of the long sleeve ones.  NONE of the shirts had a tour
  375. schedule on it.  I didn't particularly care for that... but oh well, what can i
  376. do about it?

  459. know for sure in a couple of days. I think the tickets are still on sale. If you
  460. can, I'd recommend going to a Ticketmaster outlet, rather than buying over the
  461. phone or internet, because they automatically add a 20 dollar shipping fee,
  462. which you have to finagle yr way out of. anyway, they cost me $120.50 (without
  463. the expensive shipping)  for both days.  I'll email you if the person I'm
  464. talking to decides not to buy them :)

  521. it was released, but I never found the time or money to buy it.

  524. Moby's Play and Air's Moon Safari as the only music to bring along
  525. I would probably take Moon Safari, not that I'm not a huge Moby fan,
  526. (people who have been on this list a bit longer know that I'm a real
  527. Moby-addict...) but Moon Safari is so damn GREAT! :)

  548. music & movies as much as I do. I talk about music and movies with my friends
  549. all the time. Why can't I date a woman who enjoys these things? I always end up
  550. dating someone who is a very nice person, but I have nothing in common with so
  551. it doesn't last very long.

  553.      That's why I enjoy this list. Everyone REALLY is INTO music of one kind or
  554. another (for the most part). It doesn't HAVE to be Moby, but it's nice to see.
