Here's my picks for the cds you need to own if you want to claim you
actually lived in the 90s. But if you don't even own Teenager of the Year,
you might as well not be living at all.
Top Ten of the 90s
The best CD of the last ten years is (imho)....
Frank Black - Teenager of the Year
and the next to best (in alphabetical order) were...
Air - Moon Safari
Archers of Loaf - Icky Mettle
Beck - Odelay
Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister
Bjork - Homogenic
Clutch - Clutch
Final Fantasy VII Soundtrack
Moby - Everything is wrong
Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Nirvana - Nevermind
Orbital - Insides
Pavement - Slanted and Enchanted
Prodigy - Music for the jilted generation
Polvo - Cor-Crane Secret
Radiohead - OKComputer
REM - Automatic for the people
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Spoon - Telephono
Tortoise - Millions now living will never die
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
You all need to run out to your local mom and pop record shop and buy these
to fill out the serious holes in your collections. Besides, I know that
many of you will need a replacement copy of EIW too since a cd can only take
so much playing before it melts.

ps. I'm going to see Moby in detroit on aug. 31st with a bunch of closet
Moby fans. Just look for the group of late teens trying to dance fast enough
when Moby breaks out Thousand. At least I hope he breaks out Thousand. What
a challenging song to dance to. I have see nary a man try, and he who I did
see attempt almost died trying to wiggle it more than just a little bit to
the ludicrous number of beats per minute. Yeah. Rock.

Hello Everybody,
Is anybody making plans on going to Moby's Denver, Colorado Show?
I checked it out on www.moby.org and it's supposed to be
18 Aug Denver, CO but there is no VENUE listing for the show.
I've been checking TicketMaster but they are not listing this show.
Can anybody from Colorado or people going to the Denver show tell me
how I can get tickets for this concert?
Thanks,

I can't remember if anyone mentioned this, but on the Virgin web site about
a month ago is/was a Moby interview (11 Min) followed by an in store
performance (37 Min). It is preceded by interviews with fans in the store
(9 Min).
I saved the link and tired it tonight and it still connected me to the site
and played the video and audio using Windows Media Player. The window is
pretty small, but still pretty cool.
When you double click the link, it plays the 3 videos in sequence, first the
fan interview (which is just fair), followed by the Moby interview and then
the performance. You can slide the bar across to advance to the next
section.
Good luck!
Jeff
