Fear not! I just got official confirmation that the Chicago show is
definitely happening. The list of tour dates posted to the Moby info
mailing list is probably just a few days out of date. Check out the
news page on moby.org for the list of officially confirmed dates.

Dang, well nevermind.....I surfed on over to KNRK's page (which is
extremely similar to KNDD's page - Seattle's alterna-rock station. Can
you tell they're run by the same company...I bet their dj's and play lists
are exactly the same. Grrrr.) Anyway...what was I saying? :) Oh yeah,
the Big Stink is indeed an alterna-rock festival with a big ol' list of
bands that I don't want to pay to see and only one or two that I do want
to see so I guess I will just be trying to go to the Vancouver BC date
since that is the only one that seems like a solo concert type thing.
Sorry for rambling.... :D

um, my concern is that the majority of september is
noticably blank, particulary Sept. 8, which was posted
to the list that Moby would not only be performing in
North Carolina, but at the Cat's Cradle, the small
venue in my college town of Chapel Hill (it says
Carrboro, but the two are essentially the same town).
i have never been more excited in my life. i have
never seen Moby, and with a venue that is capacity at
near, i dont know, 350-500 people, i hope to meet him.
i will be there hours in advance.
um, but obviously, my question is, is this going to
happen? (crosses fingers)

SARAH,
I wholeheartedly agree with you on those MEGA-band shows.
They are pretty annoying for one, and B-The artists that I (or you, or ANYONE)
want to see are only on stage for 30 freakin minutes or so. That's no fun. PLUS,
half the time you have to wait around for hours on end just to see MOBY, or
whatever band that floats your boat.
Just my .05 plus change

I don't know yet. September 8 is still kind of far off, and though
arrangements for a performance may or may not have been made for that
date, I won't know for sure until it is solid, confirmed, and official.
I expect to receive news on any September shows in the not too distant
future, so stay tuned and keep checking the site.
I hope I'll be able to make it to Moby's Denver show on August 18.
Is anybody else from this list going to that one?
