Is anyone on this list from CA, specifically from the San Diego area? If so,
I'd love to know the price of MOBY tickets for his 8/11 show at Cane's. Let

Hi Folks,
Well I just spent my week of vacation in Toronto looking for this Cd. I hit
the used stores, HMV, tower, Sam the Record Man and a bunch of other stores
and I couldn't find it. However there is a glimmer of hope. According to
one of the stores that I went to, I was told that the cd may be reissued. I
guess Mute Records is giving Oasis records the right to distribute their
cd's.
Now my question is Has anyone heard of Oasis records? Can anyone shed some
light on this matter. Is anybody willing to have a burned cd version of
this :).

She has her own band and used to work at a doughnut place in Toronto, near

GE CD, Mute/Intercord, MUTE INT 826.631 (MUTE161)
1 7:02 Hymn (European Mix)
2 5:57 Hymn (Menacing)
3 7:08 Hymn (I Believe)
4 7:21 Hymn (Dirty Hypo)
5 5:49 Hymn (Upriver)
Yep, the one and only!!!!
So to all who have almost given up searching for this:
KEEP ON SEARCHING, IT IS STILL OUT THERE!!
(or I just got the very last one...)
I bought this great CD _NEW_ for only $6.00 !!!!!!!!
Please don't e-mail me about where I got it, because they
only had ONE in stock...
I'm still searching for the 2 German Into The Blue CD's and
the first German Hymn CD (with Hymn (Lucky Orgasm))

hi and greetings from hot&sunny Berlin.
love parade. quite nice. i=B4m tired :) but happy, which -i think- is reall=

a fortunate state of mind for a eskimo used to waste time in igloo.
i had my birthday on friday and spent it with american friends and with
moby, though most of the time he was on the stage and i was on the floor
:). granny can dance, mind you.
not much info to tell about though. i felt good and others seemed allright
too, though moby was last to spin from 4-6. biiiig ugly hall, not exactly

The European version has the beautiful song Animal Sight that's
not on the US version and has a different (and IMO much better!)
version of Dog Heaven (with beats). The European version also
has a different, shorter version of Honest Love, but I think the US
version of Honest Love is much better.
I didn't regret buying both versions of End Of Everything for a second!

Christian, the Heads CD is very good. The original and the Moby remixes are
extremely enjoyable, and were the first Moby remixes I ever heard. (long
before I bought anything Moby) Get it cheaper than $16, though. Do a little
retail browsing for The Heads - "Damage I've Done" and you should be anle to
find it for $5 or so. The Concrete Blonde singer, Johnette Napalitano, has
the perfect voice for the song, too.
Bart, I've never heard of a Move double 12". The Move remixes are good,
though,, and I recommend the UK mixes 12" to everybody. (or the Elektra 3
track promo CD if you don't do vinyl) It's still around, too, unlike the
German Hymn CD which Bart miraculously discovered with unflagging
persistence. (that probably IS the last one, Bart) :)
I ordered a BBMH 2x12" once and got the US BBMH promo 12" and the C&D sides
of the EYTM 2x12". I also got an Invisibl Skratch Piklz record from that
guy, too.
I'll be at the Chicago show, but I don't know what the ages for it are yet.
I'll pick up a Reader and see if it's listed. Usually the Metro does all
ages shows beginning at 7 pm and then an 18+ show at 11 or midnight. Anybody
know what time Moby is? When Moby came to House Of Blues on 12/1/97, many
listings showed 18+ but it was an all ages show. We've got quite Chicago
crowd now, perhaps we should have a gethering, or go out to dinner before
the show. Thoughts, anyone?
Welcome to the list, Mike. I hope you enjoy it!
I must admit that I've been playing the new Chemical Brothers much more than
the new Moby. I've been in more of a fast-paced, higher energy mood lately.
During the fall and winter Play will get more attention, I'm sure.
ttfn,
Steve
