I just saw Moby at Edgefest in Minn. He was absolutely god there. His set
was so tight!!! I took so many pictures of him and I talked to him and he
sign the "Play" flyer with his little cartoons. It was so good. I'm glad he
was spinning because I have never heard him spin before, just his music
(which I Love) in Milwaukee a few years ago, so this was just an awesome
experience, I will never forget it. Plus that was the best part of that whole
Edgefest shindig. the other dj's were great too. but the rock bands just
sucked, well with a slight exception to Flipp and offspring, and as usual
Courtney Love was just a crab. she should lighten up and smile more.

I also got Senseless soundtrack with Graciosa and Limited version of Run on
with Sunday and Down Slow (full version).. They are also fine music.

AND I WENT COMPLETELY INSANE FROM BEGINNING TO END....HE ONLY PLAYED 8 SONGS
BECAUSE THE BANDS ON THAT SPECIFIC STAGE HAD A SHORT TIME TO PLAY AND
EVERYONE WAS ASKING FOR HIM TO COME BACK BUT HE DIDN'T.....THEN WE WENT TO
GET AUTOGRAPHS AND IT WAS FUNNY TO SEE A WHOLE BUNCH OF PEOPLE WAITING TO GET
ORGY'S AUTOGRAPHS WHEN THEY HADN'T EVEN PLAYED THEIR SET YET...THEN MOBY
COMES ALONG AND HE WAS SUCH A KIND MAN...HE DOESN'T HAVE MUCH TO SAY AND IS
VERY HUMBLE...MY FRIEND AND I GOT TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH HIM AND AFTER
THAT...WE WENT HOME..PERFECT MEMORIAL DAY....HERE ARE THE SONGS THAT HE
PLAYED (what i remember at least. not in order)

Any news about this? Like who will do the remixes.
This song is in pretty heavy rotation here in Dallas
on 94.5 The Edge. V2 is being very sneaky about
releasing this single a few weeks after the album
comes out.

thought ya'll would be interested in this.
I walked out of my bank, turned south on Broadway and who do I see having
his picture taken by a reporter...none other than Moby. Surprised and a bit
shy I managed to stop and ask "Moby?" which he said "yup.", I said "great
new album, especially the end of it", he said "thanks, I like it too", I
didn't have a pen but in true 90's fashion I got him to sign in a draw
program on my palm-pilot, I said thanks and bye and went to lunch.
I didn't get who the interview was for though... Look for a picture of Moby
in a white t-shirt (whith what looked to me as an image of krishna, but it
was probably some other religious symbol, black pants, ratty sneakers
sporting a 5 oclock shadow, that will be the one I saw.

I don't think I'll be able to meet you before the event, but who knows?
I'm not 100% sure what I'll be wearing. Let's see... maybe a short-
sleeved tropical shirt with my white MOBY ringer t-shirt underneath it.
There is a lousy scan of me at http://www.cerman.net/g/xdc1.jpg that is
a few years old. I have sort of a half-grown gotee now. ;)

No, I'm just a regular guy. A student, actually. Moby's management
and record company people have been extremely nice about keeping me
supplied with the latest information and music. That is very cool, but
I am still an independent Moby fan. If I don't like something, I say
so. If I love something, I say so, and try to promote it in whatever
capacity I can, because I want others to enjoy it too.

That would be neat. In any case, I hope somebody can record that
SonicNet stream. Surely my modem, which usually connects at 26400bps,
will not be fast enough to make it enjoyable as streamed content.
BTW, perhaps they should stop calling it "live", since it is not.
