  209. I disagree.  I think when Moby writes his essays, he is writing for the fans 
  210. of his music and, in particular, the fencesitters who only focus on the 
  211. music and are too lazy to get into the politics.  And what is "Beautiful 
  212. Music" anyway?  I think (early 80's) Cocteau Twins are extremely beautiful 
  213. but my girlfriend thinks they're dark & depressing.

  370. the hell to see the videos. I must be braindead or something because all I 
  371. get is the three AUDIO songs and nothing else. I must be doing something 
  372. wrong but I can't figure it out. AARRRRRRRRGH!

  374. BTW - the "SHINING" song kick major MOBY butt!!! How did I never hear about 
  375. this?!?!?!  It is an incredible track!!   WHooo-hooo! That song is worth the 
  376. 12 bucks I paid for the CD alone!

  389. favorite moby tracks. but on the disk question. i
  390. bought one at a moby show when they first came out and
  391. it never worked. i called all over asking questions
  392. and it just finally came down to some of them did'nt
  393. work or some such nonesense. so i really hope someone
  394. has a suggestion for you as i've had mine for several
  395. years and have never watched anything that's on it.

  442. Yeah, "Disk" really filled my life with a lot of stress for a few days
  443. after I first bought it.  Luckily "Shining" was such a wonderful song that
  444. I could listen to it and calm down inbetween computer crashes.  And then it
  445. turns out that the ever-wonderful site, moby.org, has some info on the
  446. matter.  Check out http://www.moby.org/reviews/disk.html.  I ended up
  447. getting my computer see the list of movie files and so on, but the whole
  448. presentation was still a bit messed up.  That was good enough for me
  449. though--I just created an HTML page with links to the files on the cd-rom
  450. so that I could see which video I wanted.  Let me know if you want that.

  518. in america that they are so sepreated. electronica is
  519. really big on charts all over the world. but here
  520. we're still waiting for that big "break through-cross
  521. over" to happen. i thought EIW was going to be it.
  522. then i thought maybe the prodigy...nothing more to say
  523. about them..although they did sell a lot of records. i
  524. keep waiting...june looks good though. moby and
  525. orbital released here in the states. maybe the new
  526. chemical brothers-i here it's really good.

  533. i think(or feel)that the essay's moby writes are
  534. simply there because he is allowed to right them and
  535. print them in his cd's. if people listen and take
  536. something from it-so be it. atleast they read it and
  537. thought about some real issues for a couple of
  538. minutes. even if they don't agree. but if they never
  539. EVER read the essays, theres still all those cd's full
  540. of good music.

  577. im not a hundred percent sure but i think its because the 
  578. certain mix used the theme from Twin Peaks, which was a tv 
  579. show and also a movie.
  580. But i dont think it actually appeared in any movies, especially 
  581. twin peaks.
