  50. but have his live at the splash club cd and the songs from the come on =
  51. baby cd which totally rock.   what does the dancy stuff sound like live, =
  52. does he sing on it also or use sampled vocals.

  296. and very illegal thing they have got going on here in Japan. Everyone has
  297. Video Rental Stores, but here they also rent CDs, more so than Videos. And not
  298. just Japanese, but everything. And if you all are saying, yea I'm cool, I have
  299. got an MD player, well everoyne here has had them for years, and in the CD
  300. Rental Shops they sell thousands of blank tapes, MDs, and even CDs. The
  301. government doesn't care, and they actualy rank the singles in JApan by the
  302. following three categories: 
  303. Volume of Sales, Volume of Rentals, and Karaoke. So, all of you bitching about
  304. MP3s better not come over this way. What do you think about that. OH yea, it
  305. costs about 1/3 the price to rent a CD as it does to buy it. At least he

  386. library does a similar thing with vidoes and cds, only you dont pay for
  387. them.   i dont understand how the cd thing is actually legal?  sorry, i know

  458. there next year (she was born there). I'm going to teach english. I like to
  459. hear different people's japan experiences. I've been there twice, each time
  460. for two months and had a great time [95% of the time anyway  : {)>  ] I have
  461. to say that the japanese (for the most part) have an interesting taste in
  462. music. can't say I always understand it tho.

  584. Anyway, I am not writing about Moby at all except to sa that I had no idea he
  585. was friends with Jewel. Oh yea, and I would recomend getting I Like to Score
  586. for someone who has never heard Moby and probably is not into any of that
  587. related kind of music. It is the most public friendly, so I think it is a good
  588. start. Now, most of you can stop reading or don't complain.
  589. I am living in Tokyo. Nakameguro, 2 stops from Shibuya. Rollerblading distance
  590. to about anything worthwhile, although the Japanese people don't seem to like
  591. my rollerblades. Anyway, Clay and Andrew, where were you guys and if you will
  592. be an English teacher, you will fit right in with the rest of the gaijin, as
  593. stripping and teching English are the 2 main jobs for them. And Japan is
  594. awesome, I would love to live here, but the people don't make enough money and
  595. work too hard and everything is too expensive. But it is awesome. I don't play
  596. video games much, but I am aboutt o go buy that new Sega that doesn't even
  597. come out in America till next Christmas. Oh yea, and I kind of like the
  598. Japanese music, even though it is all popish and most of it copies either what
  599. is popular in America now, or what used to be popular that they just steal.
  600. And Clay, are you part or all Japanese and I assume you speak the language,
  601. right? Anyway, I wasted enough space rambling, Later.
