  49. something which DIRECTLY pertains to one richard hall aka Moby
  50. or whether we can discuss the things which moby has often

  53. hypocrisy, crime, ignorance, hate, music, culture, conformism,
  54. capitalism, everythingism, nothingism,
  55. and the right to be one's self without restrictions placed upon one's 
  56. mode of thinking or behavior
  57. if it doesn't hurt the rest of society
  58. and/or even if it does
  59. (who decides?.....DEATH PENALTY)

  113. this summer, i fell in love with this german woman who was bright and 
  114. beautiful....but i knew we were in trouble quite early when, during 
  115. about our fifth night of serious, but fun, 
  116. discussion/conversations....she starts talking about this little 
  117. european actress which she much admired because, as she said, "everytime 
  118. i'd read about her in the press, she'd always have something strongly 
  119. persuasive to say about feminism....."
  120. at which point, i said, "well, that's great, let's talk about feminism!"
  121. and she starts almost yelling  " well....i certainly don't want to get 
  122. involved in a lengthy discussion about feminism just because i said
  123. she was a feminist.........!!!!!" and that's how the rest of my summer 
  124. went>

  226. post, that I referred to earlier, stuck out like a sore thumb and I found
  227. myself very....curious and reactionary about that. like I said, I didn't
  228. recall who wrote that one; I deleted it a few days ago. It seemed
  229. so....angry. which is great I suppose, however, it would've helped to know
  230. WHO it was directed towards (did I miss some earlier post...is my ADD

  257. Just recently I visisted the new Virgin Megastore in Denver, CO. It is 
  258. really great...I was so overwhelmed I forgot what I was looking for, but 
  259. they did have many copies of Disk and AR w/ Little Idiot. Those where 
  260. the only two that I found that I had never seen before at any other 
  261. store. They also had a few of EIW, EOE (including the UK Import), 
  262. Ambient, ILTS and Ambient. I also saw Honey and Honey Remixes at a local 
  263. Best Buy...it was a pleasant suprise.

  331. the crystal method....i think their remix of COB is _OK_. but i prefer
  332. the original. mostly because of that guitar solo at the end, which is
  333. just unplaceable in the techno version. thats one of the bad things
  334. about techno, you cant really have guitar solos. i guess. maybe you
  335. can. but not in like normal standard techno. of course, now that i
  336. think of it, that CM song "comin back" has a solo in it. but i  hate
  337. that song.
  338. i think the CM have sold out tho, with that gap ad and all. my friend
  339. says they sued the gap for using their song in the ad (good for them,
  340. if they did) but hes full of more BS than a farm, so i doubt thats true.
  341. he says  moby was once in a band called "moby and the bunnymen" and
  342. when they broke up, he just went as Moby.

  352. beats apart from moby's, verdad?)

  403. caring list a moment ago is now one big cat fight!  i think i am now
  404. totally lost as to why this is happening.

  406. so, there was someone who wasn't happy with the posts of physical
  407. description.. that's very common because there's always someone not happy
  408. with something on this list.  but, that's what makes this list unique. 
  409. there are bunches of minds behind this list and everyone has a different
  410. opinion about something.  if we cannot express that opinion, lessay about
  411. a song or something, without being bitched at and subtly told that we're
  412. stupid morons, then what the hell is this list good for?  i thought that
  413. this list was for people uniting under one common interest - liking
  414. moby's music.  now, this is the main common interest.  over time, you
  415. find that you have more than that one common interest with someone, or
  416. many people, on the list and you want to explore new territory.  every
  417. post has the same thing in common- we all like moby.  whether it is a
  418. post of moby or non-moby, it doesn't matter because as i said earlier,
  419. they are all related.  curiosity is one of the many qualities of being
  420. alive and if we are bitched at for being curious, well i'm sorry but you
  421. can't supress nature like that.  every person is different and brings
  422. something different to this list.  i enjoy talking to every one of you,
  423. if if it's people bitching about stuff i've said, because i respect
  424. everyone's opinion just like i hope they respect mine.  if we're going to
  425. be a list full of grudges and people nit picking about every little shit,
  426. then i'm sorry but i will leave.  i do not appreciate being bitched at
  427. for shit like this and having to put my defenses up because someone has
  428. had a bad day.

  430. i know that there's more to life than just moby and i think we should
  431. bring those qualities out.  our day to day experiences make us what we
  432. are and what we contribute to this list.

  435. that doesn't change how i feel about this stuff.  i've been shaking my
  436. head over the last few posts lately and really wonder if all this
  437. bitching is really worth it.  it's almost like we're one dystunctional
  438. family that's having one bad thanksgiving dinner (kinda reminds me of a
  439. Springer show... i can see food flying every where!).  all i can say is
  440. that i hope that people will be nice and put their grudges aside because
  441. to err is human, to forgive is divine.  we all need to sit down and
  442. really think for a moment about what we're actually fighting about.  is
  443. it really worth it?  i, for one, don't think that stupid shit like what
  444. someone looks like is worth breaking up this list for.. we've had this
  445. thing far too long to ruin it now.  besides, what do the newcomers think
  446. of all this?  for stuff like this to be their first post really makes
  447. this list look bad.

  449. i have enjoyed this list for as long as i have been on it, about half a
  450. yr, and have learned a great deal about everything.  people have pointed
  451. me to new artists (which were non-moby posts) and have helped expand my
  452. view of everything.  there is something to benefit from this list, which
  453. is knowledge and friendship.  everything has its ups and downs, and right
  454. now we;re at a down.  let's try to take it back up.

  457. right music and ending this self-help babble.  i hope it makes sense.. i

  492. I love all  the remixes on that single and also the live tracks on 
  493. the first CD.  Moby really give his fans a good deal, 30 minutes of 
  494. music on a single on the special edition.  Also when I last saw him 
  495. live it cost me =A33 which is just unbeleivable.  He is a superb, 
  496. inspired musician.  No more really needs to be said I think.

  729. I could not agree more with this.  We are all different so lets enjoy 
  730. these differences and not be aggressive about it.  We are all on this 
  731. list because of our love of Moby's music and we could perhaps do with 
  732. being on topic a little bit more but this does not preclude any other 
  733. subject.  These other subjects are all part of life's rich tapestry!
