welcome jeff....
okay you get to be the old man on the list.......thanks......
i hated the job!
: )
but man....you're killing us by not hitting that return key on occasion!
we gotta scroll a million miles just to read your message.
it's the surest way to NOT get your messages read.
yeah......you seem to like the stuff i like too
between the filmic stuff and the ultra dance stuff.
but he does rock when he needs to......(even when i don't need to).
so yeah......his new honey single is pretty worth checking out.
most of us here seem to like it.
by the way we're doing a remix cd if you'd like to join in.
talk to ryu about that....he's always around.
anyway
welcome

yep, those are the two versions. i can't remember how many screens the
first version is split into, but oh well. they were both played on AMP
on Mtv, but as for during a generic section of videos, i'd doubt it. it
may have been shown on 120 minutes, also. as a matter of fact, i'd almost
bet the second version was shown on there.
for those of you that don't know what AMP is, you can check out my (dated)
page. i haven't gotten the last two months' tracklists up there, but you
can see when they showed the saint video and other great orbital videos.

Welcome, Jeff! When Moby made Everything Is Wrong he wanted to
display his musical diversity since it was his first album-sized release on
a major label, and Moby always tries to avoid 'pigeonholing' (weird word
choice, I'd use 'categorization' myself) So in a way, yes, it is a journey,
but only a sound journey. I don't think it represents anything in particular
other than Moby's diversity. Many people remark about how the transitions
work so well, which is surprising considering how many styles are
represented. Because it contains so much different & good music, it makes a
great introduction to Moby. So does I Like To Score, as you well know.
I'm sure you'll enjoy being on this list, I sure do. I recommend
looking through the archives at www.moby.org because there's been a lot
going on here recently. You'll find several reviews of Honey, Moby's new
single, background on the Thanks II project, which is a CD of covers and
remixes that different list members are creating, and it'll help you get to
know some of us a little bit.

Honey is currently on the Permanent Midnight soundtrack distributed by DGC,
fueling speculation that this is Moby's new US label. Though nothing has
been confirmed yet.

DEF is great, and serves Moby well by giving us new release info, live
show dates, and so much more! :)
