  57. I had to chime in on this to say I really don't think it's fair
  58. to say OMD was a "minor" 80's synthpop band!
  59. In fact I believe they were one of the most influential and ground
  60. breaking bands of the time with 15 albums starting in 1980 and
  61. I'm sure they sold as many albums as Depeche Mode did in the 80's.
  62. I'm sure they are easily in the top 5 of most popular 80s synthpop ever.
  63. Don't forget about great hits like Electricity, Joan Of Arc, Tesla
  64. Girls, So In Love, and Forever (live and die).
  65. I remember seeing concert posters from the early 80s where Depeche
  66. Mode opened for OMD as opposed to the other way round, until 83 or 84
  67. they were one of the biggest synth groups next to Kraftwerk.
  68. I've seen them live 4 times and I personally like thier very early
  69. influential stuff the best (1st 3 or 4 albums), I can't wait to hear
  70. the Moby remixes though, glad to hear about them.

  656. a good setting for it (I recommend playing this at after-hours, or at the
  657. end of your day, or while reading Sandman) :) Anytime you're relaxing. Hey
  658. Xaq, I'm curious why you call yourself xero products. It's the products part
  659. I don't get. Is it part of a bigger picture, merchandising in the future
  660. perhaps? It sounds like a company name, not an artist one. And that's better
  661. packaging on your demo than I've seen on many commercial releases, and far
  662. more creative. Simple, yet very pleasing. I'm putting that xero products
  663. sticker on a turntable lid. It's the second to find a home there. The one
  664. next to it is a funny little purple and grey sticker.
