jazz thieves doesn't strike me as terribly hellish.  oh well.

yeah, it does sound screwed up at first.  the thing is, the previous parts
of the piano part go up a note each time, whereas when it starts over, it
goes down a note.  that's part of why it sounds strange, IMO, but i also
think perhaps it was a looping error or something - it does sound like
it comes in too soon or too late or something.  *shrug*

week off from school, i have time to chat. I'm scheduling a chat
friday evening at 7-8pm Eastern Time (thats 1900-2000 Eastern Time, or

Hi.  This doesn't have much actual content to dM, Moby, or Erasure, but it
does if you consider that they all use this kind of technology:

I want to set one track of the sequencer on my keyboard to control an
external keyboard, and I haven't been able to do it.  I know about MIDI
channels, I tried setting them to the same one on both keyboards, but the
controlling keyboard is still sending out note information for ALL the
tracks playing, but I only want it to send out information for ONE track.
Anybody who knows what I should do, please e-mail me.  I can give you
details about what keyboards I'm using, etc.  Thanks.  RRR aka delobbo

(which is actually today, the 11th).  Well, since my life is music, my friends
bought me so much shit, most of it being Moby.  The highlights:

EIW/UNDERWATER!!!!!!!  (YEAH!!!)
ITB w/SHINING
CD7 Move
As well as good Orbital and Orb CD's and some great movies.  So, anyway, my
Moby count is at 66 CD's (39 Moby, 10 Remixes, 9 Comp & Sdtk, 8 Aliases) as
well as 15 Vinyls.  Well, I'm off to buy more CD's.  Hope everyone has a great
weekend!

He recently turned down opportunities to remix elton john and Ace of Base
for enormous sums of money and yet did remix a tune for one of the guys in
Sepeltura's new band for free. He has a "disco mix" of Smashing Pumpkins'
1979 that he did not turn into the band so he could use it for himself.

Go on believing for the next two days that it's awful, to fool yourself into
thinking you're not missing anything. But once you get it back, you'll
realize that it's a great collection of mixes of a great song that's as easy
to listen to as a record of 14 different songs.

I have some,  my friend is an avid bootlegger.
He uses a poratable DAT with a mic and input level adjustment,
how he sneaks it in every time I don't know- but he has
never had it confinscated.
He also stands right next to the PA speakers and doesn't
ever talk during a show.
You have to sacrifice something...
