However, I do have two Into The Blue discs, Bring Back My Happiness, & Hymn.

From what I understand there are five tracks, titled Underwater 1-5. They're
'quiet', moody, ambient pieces. 'Grace' on I Like To Score is a reworking of
Underwater 2. As I like this type of thing, I simply must hear these tracks.

Welcome! I hope you enjoy us. I joined maybe a month ago, and I've had lots
of fun with this. There's a great wealth of knowledge to draw from, and I've
gottn many good suggestions and advice here.
So, do you have any favorite songs, album, etc? Where do you hail from?

Just got a note that says Moby will be at Cross Rhythms festival
in Devon about 2 hours outside of London. He will be there will his
good friend Cameron Dante from World Wide Message Tribe and Kiss100.
The note I got says that he would be spinning.... The festival is for 3
days and everynight they will have a dance tent set up. I already had
press tickets as I have talked the University station here in Arizona to
do a live remote from Devon to cover the event. My live just got much
better!!!.

Don't mean to butt in..but he hails from Boise, Idaho(or at least he's in
the metro area)..Don't be worried Dan#5 <lol>..I'm not stalking you..I just
happened to notice you(like me) have the bsumail.idbsu.edu address :). Nice
to have someone else from Boise on the list(even though I know there are
more Moby lovers out there)...Hey..if and when Moby tours..are you willing
to travel to Seattle, Portland, or SLC to see him? Hopefully he'll save us
a trip and just come here :).

i think it's wrong to classify an artist under a certain type of music.
music comes from the soul, it is a form of expression. if an artist feels
that they should use a different sound to say something, then they should
use it. it is their way of speaking. to say that moby is no longer techno
is false.. moby isn't really anything but an artist (in my opinion, at
least). his music has been pretty different (from what i've heard), and
that's what makes it unique. i respect him even more because he put out AR,
showing that he is willing to expands his boundaries of expression. one of
my fav. bands that i've been into since they've begun is pearl jam. every
album they have put out has been great, even no code (which a lot of ppl
thought sucked because it sounded so different). i love the fact that
artists are experimenting. sometimes it gets repetitive listening to the
same sound over and over again, from each and every CD.
well.. that's my ramble on the whole thing. i hope it was coherent, i have
a tendency to make no sense at all.. so i'm sorry if it's uncomprehensible.

HEY plovious!
we like it when you make no sense at all!!!!!!!
at least i do......
but how about if people call moby a punk/////////techno artist
(that ventures beyond the norm) so we don't mistake him for say
a watercolor artist
or even
say a polka artist>>>>>>>>>?
i hate labels too but they almost serve a purpose at times>>>>>>>
like warning labels!
speaking of.......
just came back from a local "house" party
and boy did i miss hearing anything remotely as exciting as moby!!!!!
decent location and sound system.......
there were a few tunes that actually seemed to go off and funny they
were some of the almost clubbier vocal house stuff
but as deep as "deep house" gets
god i miss the energy of a real good tune/hook/phrase at times
even moby's clubbier things would use 2 chords and the more poppy
things (FSR ETYTM) would venture into 3 and 4 chords
whereas so much deep house seems to hang on one chord and hint at a
second
some awesome beats buts buts buts
i still had fun as i NEVER go somewhere and spend 5 bucks
to NOT HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
(record store let me in at half price so i show my appreciation by
dancing dancing........: )
