I don't know why, but failing to release the full version on CD ranks
high among the worst screwups against Moby, IMHO. Move should have
been a double CD in the UK, with all the mixes. ATINITBL remixes
should have been released on CD *at least* in the UK. But the US
Move EP, though wonderful, excludes the full version of Move (shame
on Elektra) and the UK Move CD is really pathetic. Some of Moby's
greatest songs, complete with excellent remixes, were released only
nominally on CD. This is a loss for all Moby fans.
BTW, I'm still looking for an ATINITBL 12". If you've got one you're
willing to sell, please email me privately.

There were different Move 12"s. Which one is this? (country, catalog#)

I've got the US 12" of All That I Need Is To Be Loved.
It has the Flashin Dub mix on it that I think is only
on that single. But sorry I could never give it up.
For those who have not heard this mix I would
describe it as house. It has the vocal cut up and is
in vein with the progressive house sounds that were
coming out circa 93-94.

Subject: (mobility) Bootlegs & Promos
Hi ya'll!
I have two questions
#1 : How do I proceed in order to make a bootleg copy of a concert, Anyone
tried this? I have tried to make one a couple of times with no luck, the
first time I smuggled a small tape recorder into a concert hall, the result
was a hell of a lot screaming and whisteling and some distorted sounds of
some drums and a bass. The recording was so bad I deleted it. Second time
around the recorder was taken care of for me by the guards...
Anyone have any good advice on doing this?
#2 : What Moby promos are rated the best? Where do you all pick up the
promo-copies of records??

I'm curious about myself... I love to collect bootlegs, and would love to
record some of the local shows... Do you have to have line out from the mixing
board? Or can you do it with a microphone and tape recorder?????
Also, does anyone have any MOBY boots????

Hey thanks for the mental picture!!!
To add my own little vision I see a a palm tree - with a monkey swinging from it... but alas it's not just any monkey but a Moby-monkey... I see him covered in gold paint (kind of like one of the Hymn videos) swinging from the tree... And there are coconuts too...
And someone was looking for the Demons/Horses CD - if you haven't tried it yet - try looking in the GEMM catalog... that's where I got mine... and I don't know the address off-hand, but there's a link to it on "The Ultimate Moby Page" (www.moby.org)
