Alright...I've been tracking this one down for an absurdly long time, and
CDNow doesn't have it. Is it worth my effort, time and money to just order
it from the Mutebank in the UK? Also, can someone make MP3/RA files of other
Voodoo Child/Lopez/DJ Cake stuff that us Moby fans can hear if we don't have
access to record stores that can order them?

Yes, it is true that computer programs and the way they interact with the
computer can sometimes cause headaches. So I suggest that if you do get
this program, keep track of what the program is modifying in your computer,
as you should with any program you install. It also helps to have a basic
understanding of the Win95 "Registry", however crude a device it may be. I
had a similar problem with the program "CleanSweep 95", and once I removed
it, the computer was OK. So, be careful.... Computers sometimes
(actually LOTS of times) have minds of their own. Also, when in doubt,
reboot, and see if that fixes anything... RRR aka delobbo

ok, i've asked this before, but since we're all talking about trophy stuff:
is there anywhere on the web/net/whateveryouwannacallit that i can order
VINYL versions of lopez/cake/voodoo child trophy stuff? i only have dog
heaven and emptiness and love them both and play them very often on my
weekly radio show.
also, i must admit that i've been HEAVELY influanced by moby's alter egos
as of late. for the few people who have actually sent their tapes like
that said they would and are getting my music, you'll see what i mean.
also also, do any of the old members of this list remember when we were
debating wether or not moby really was dj cake and lopez? oh, the memories.
the april fools joke reminded me that i'm DYING to get the new album. i'm
hopeing he puts some more minimal stuff on it, along with his stupidly
happy hands in the air stuff. will it be on elektra or will it be put off
till he finds and new musical home? guess i could just call them and find
out...
ok, time to go take my drugs. (i'm sick see...)

Hi. I now have 60 scans of Moby cd's up at the below link, spread across 4
pages. If you leave your mouse pointer on the thumbnail without clicking, a
brief description of the image appears (assuming your browser supports this,
which I should hope it does.) If anyone has any problems downloading these,
or any weird links that don't work, mail me about it. I set up these pages
in a hurry, so there may be some irks there. I have checked most of it
though. Enjoy!
Scans still to come:

i think the hymn one was hymn.alt.quiet (ppl have mentioned it on this
list... it was a green case, if i remember correctly). it was an import, so
it was around $24, or so. i think the only reason why i got those CDs so
cheap was that they were used. Rare was definetly used.. the case has a
crack on it... but the CD is in good condition. now why would anyong trade
in a moby CD? especially an import, like EIW remixed. this baffles me....
anyways, it depends on where u go for the prices. i found places in FL that
sold CDs that cheap.. only because they were used, though. but, there was
one place that sold new CDs for a great price! even imports! i loved that
place.. i hated having to pay $16.99 for a new CD.. i prefered $11.99 and
$10.99.
enough rambling, though....

used CD stores. some radio stations must dump them on used CD stores,
cos thats where i find mine.
> also, am I missing anything by not owning them, or do they only have
> exact copies of songs of the mass-produced albums?
most have just the album version and the radio edit of a song or even
just the radio edit of a song. they're quite a waste of plastic, it's
quite ridiculous. anyway, some _do_ have some exclusive tracks on them
(or at least tracks not found on CD anywhere else), so it depends. some
promos are worth seeking out, some aren't. but heck, when i see them
at the local used shop for 1$ and it's a band i like, i figure, what
the heck.

I must confess that sometimes have a problem trying to find out what a
acronym means, but not for most used ones.
And it seems we're using slang when you find a paragraph full of them. :)

Hey, good imagination... I'm thinking in asking a friend to draw a comic
strip with that start, but I must give him a script before he can draw
anything... More ideas about what happens on the "movie" ?
I imagine Evil Ninja talking to the reader, and explaining what he does in
his normal life: <TOPICAL MODE>DJ'ing at clubs, "jailed" at the studio,
walking his dog (I wonder if Moby's got any pet), going to a Veg'Donalds,

I'm always expecting whale jokes with my beer belly...
But mostly people just call me "moby" when I wear it.

Hope you flu victims pull through...I will be leaving for the
desert to Death Valley on Friday...out there in the netherworld
until the 12th. I was hoping befor I go if anyone else had the
Reloil "Faith Healer" CD becaue besides the Barracuda Mix there
is another song that sounds like Moby had his hand in, although
the credits say remixed by Daniel Miller (Depeche Mode fame) and
Phillip Erb, but I think you all should hear this song
CONSPIRACY THEORY which has Moby's trademark style, I wonder
if anyone who is in contact with Moby can find out more about
his involvment in Recoil especially Faith healer CD single.
It;s the Conspiracy Theory (double bullet) version....

I always imagined having a catoon like scooby doo where celebrity
personas solved mysteries. One's that made good characatures and
were humurous to imitate...like Andrew Eldrich form the Sisters
Of Mercy with Moby and Robert Smith, and maybe a rock star legion
of doom thing with Billy Idol (great toon character) and Marylin Manson
or something. I will help with the audio if you want to make a
weird characture thing with lots of rock stars- I think it would be
really cool- have you ever seen the drawing from the guy at
rocktoons.com or something like that? Only animated...I'll help!
