Subject: Re: (mobility) Next Is The Bring Back My Happiness?!?!?
A peculiar thing happened. I loaded up all my Moby CDs into my player
and picked tracks from different CDs at random and programed the player
not knowing what songs they were. Somewhere in the middle of 99 tracks
programed played "Next Is The E (Club Mix)" and right after is the
original mix of "Bring Back My Happiness."
I thought I just heard the song already so I checked if they were the
same songs but different remixes. They were not! So, I placed the two
CDs in different players and listened to them simultaneously. It seemed
like they both started with the same exact sounds! The only difference
was that "BBMH" was faster and of better equipment. Has anyone else
come to discovering this? What do you think of it? We know that "I
Feel It" evolved from continuous mixing of "NITE," so what about "BBMH?"

Hey gang,
Thanks to today's circular inthe sunday paper, I've discovered that
appliance, electronics and music mega store Best Buy has gotten in to the
on-line music purchasing business. They'll let you buy whatever they have
available to them at prices usually a buck or two than you'll find in the
store. Shipping prices are a little vague, but reasonable (looks like
$2.49-4.99 per order, regular usps, fedex/abx available). And they have a
great Moby selection. All major releases and a good selection of import
releases at fantastic prices. Mute and Trophy releases are available at
domestic rates!!
Take a look and have your credit card ready. But leave a couple of copies
for me.

rave on brother!
i haven't heard the new goldie but let's face it
most critics are parasites anyways
just leeching off a culture
that they think they administer judgment over
as if a critic invented hip-hop
breakbeat
ambient
or soul..........
the only difference between a critic (of which i've done plenty of)
and the general joe and jane public
is that they TRY to take longer to say something AND they get thrown
little doggie bones namely cd's and a few bucks
( i hear one screaming >HEY! i made 200 bucks on that review!<)
so what!
dig what you will paul and goldie
like moby and all other pioneers before and after
will do likewise without permission from an
over-hyped and
mediocre advertising machine.......
and it is ALL political
if it weren't>>>>>>>
they would've made moby the man of the year
back in 95.

<< number 4: Rekkit -- Moby has played "go" every time i've seen him, whether
it's in a club, the rave-esque Big Top tour, or various festivals ... the
version recorded at the Splash Club is actually a rock version. it starts
off
with him saying "this is a song i ripped off years ago," and then starts
playing his guitar -- no distortion, very acoustic sounding, in a picking-
style ... anyway, as the song builds, he kicks in the distortion, and bass
and
drums follow ... i've never seen him perform it this way live, however.

I have seen this live but a little different. He said whover guesses what the
next song is first wins my complete and total respect....it was GO and i
guessed right....

Hi,
Hello - I've just joined this and I was wondering if anyone was on this
list!
I loved Moby's stuff but I've not been that keen on his recent metal
stuff, although the film score stuff is good.
Does anyone know is he's planning to do anymore dance stuff?
