Hah, Eric, you and I are in the exact same situation! My copy is in the
mail from Songsearch.
Although I do have ILTS, and if the one track on there is an indication of
the quality of the rest on the 12", then we are probably in for a pleasant
suprise.
now I haven't heard Mobys new James Bond Theme (got it
>on vinyl but havent been able to find a turntable in the dorms, and I
>havent bought ILTS yet :( )
Later,
Matt Himes

I thought that the new single, "James Bond Theme (Moby's re-version)",
was going to come out today. I don't see it at CDnow, and they're
usually good about posting releases in advance. Maybe it has been
delayed. If so, does anybody know when the new release date is?

Subject: (mobility) Moby Usage...
Just thought I'd let everyone know something interesting...
Recently the radio station that I frequent in Atlanta (99x) has been giving
away all expense paid trips to see the Rolling Stones in various cities.
Three people a day (caller 99... how creative) get put into a drawing, and
one of those people gets to go. Something like 15 trips in all...
Anyrate, that's not the point. The point is... the promo for the ROLLING
STONES trip, to see THE ROLLING STONES perform uses the James Bond Theme as
a music bed, and at one point in time, Ah-Ah. Hmm... let's see. We're
promoting the Rolling Stones, but their music isn't cool enough for our
promo, so let's use Moby. How strong a message is that?
Also - just saw a promo for a new movie with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere
(??? Not sure), who's soundtrack, among others (Bush... others I can't
remember) includes Moby. For the life of me, I can't remember the damn
name of the movie. Gere plays a FBI/CIA agent trying to catch Willis...
who plays the perrenial bad ass assasinator. Anyone know anything about
this?

released a new 'action logo', designed
to attract a much younger and hipper
target audience. Ya know, if you start
bowling because of an 'action logo,'
I got a feelin' you were gonna be bowlin'
anyway..."
