You'll have to search for that one, it's in the middle of a singles review page for August. There is also UK tour info for Underworld (w/ New Order!) and info about their new album due in March.
I was talking to a couple of you privately. Please resend those messages to this address if you sent them after 4 pm yesterday. Thank you.

That would be cool if Moby stopped in and dropped some hints and samples for us, I know it would increase the level of interest. I don't think it's likey, though, because the first time Moby had contact with the online community he was practically drawn & quartered. Since then he only does the occasional chat session. He hasn't this year, I suppose he's busy with writing and production! And being a movie star.
I don't think Moby & Beastie Boys would be a good combo. It would sound cool, of course, but I don't think it would be anything special. Moby makes party music, like the BBs, but Moby's has depth and punch. The Beasties just have a lot of punch. I like them, but for me they get worn out quickly. I'd recommend Tori Amos, but BT has allready done that very well. The singer from Opus III, now that would be great! If you've ever heard "It's A Fine Day", you know what I mean. Orbital sampled that for Halycon (On+On). Wait, nevermind, Moby did "I Talk To The Wind" remixes for Opus III already. They're very hard to find, though. Hmm. I'd like to hear Moby's take on on Aphex Twin's drill 'n' bass style, Moby could hyper that up in interesting ways.
have a great weekend,
-Steve

My friends gave me pnuemonia for Christmas. :(
Thanks for the awesome breakdown on the mix! Can somebody out there with the MOR single give us the scoop on that one? My guess, Paul, would be that Moby turned in more than one mix for Blur, and they put one on the single, and one on the 2CD remix set. Moby ususally does that, so far as I can see. As for the Japanese writing, if there's a English section they're probably identical. I've got a Japanese U2 CD that has liner notes in both languages, and the Japanese section is bigger. AJ, isn't that you in Japan? What's the scoop on translations?
I'm sick and delerious, but I saw some show on MTV with Matt Pinfield and he's mentioned Moby & James Bond Theme and showed a short clip of the vid. (first I've seen) I can't remember the context. Anybody? I forgot how bad daytime TV is.
Happy Holidays to all,
Steve

Patient Love from End Of Everything is quite possibly my favorite Moby song. It would be either that or one of the Voodoo Child mixes with Slight Return in it. I was listening to the Expanded mix last night, which is absolutely gorgeous. Instinct has made some very poor re-release choices. Early Underground and Rare both lack the best 12" mixes. When I'm in my garage (the smoking room), where my turntables reside, I've been listening to the Discotheque 3x12", all 3 Voodoo Child 12"s, Voodoo Ray by A Guy Called Gerald, and Moby's Electro mix of Miserablism by the Pet Shop Boys, among numerous others. Upstairs, on CD, I've been listening to a big heap of U2 CDs, Instinct Dance, which I got yesterday, and the Permanent Midnight soundtrack. I can't get enough of the Gomez song on there.
Merry Holiday Party Week,
Steve

Yeah, we got political strife, looming international conflicts, the milleneum parties, possible Armageddon, Moby's new album, perhaps contact with an alien species, media-led widespread insanity, and more of Mr. Bourke being nasty. Me being a windbag, too.
The solution to all of the world's problems is, quite simply, turn up the music louder.
(insert sanctimonious "don't trivialize amphibian rights with jokes" response here)
Yeah, yeah, whatever. Relax, booze up, eat some cookies, whatever, and have a Happy New Year. Play some older Moby bootyshakers and ppaarrttyyyyy.

? How was I "nasty," I meant my response to be "funny," a comical comment
intended to elicite a joyous response... I thought it was at least kitsch
if not funny
Anyway, I was watching some cable channel and NBC was advertising the
network premeire fo the movie Heat, and who's track from the movie
they chose to put on the commercial? Moby!~ I forgot the name of the
track, but I'm sure many people know already, it's on ILTS i believe.
