There will be (at least) one more volume. That would bring the
series to seven books. There has been talk in the past of Gerald
Lund writing them all the way across the plains and even to the
present day, but, for now, they're taking it one book at a time.
There will be a volume seven, though.

Subject: IronRod.Com Update
Date: 10 Feb 1996 17:47:56 +0000
There's been a lot of construction going on at IronRod.Com and we are
excited to announce that it's nearing completion!
We now have added an automated "shopping cart" system, so that you
can browse around and drop items into a "virtual basket" and when
you're ready to go, head to our Netscape Secure checkout counter. We
can automatically approve and process Visa, Mastercard, Discover,
American Express and even checks(business and personal)! This system
is the most secure way you can use your credit card. It is encrypted
with Netscape's (newly strengthened) SSL and sent directly to the
bank to be processed. IronRod's employees never even see your card
number!
Anyway, this system is new (and actually, still being set up...) so
if you find some problems or it's missing some graphics, be patient.
If you find what you think is a bug, please drop a line to us at
bugs@ironrod.com so we can get it whipped.
Thanks for all of the incredible support!

Subject: Anybody out there?
Date: 12 Feb 1996 11:53:56 -0700
Hi everybody,
I'm looking for a list that discusses LDS doctrine and other issues
pertaining to the LDS. But as of yet, I haven't seen much doctrinal
discussion on this list. That's ok :), maybe I'm just in the wrong
spot. Could one of you guys out there suggest a list I could join
that would serve this purpose?
Thanks,
Joost Nixon

Subject: The latest TV shows: Good and bad.
Date: 12 Feb 1996 19:05:01 +0000
I remember the shock of turning on the tv when I returned home from
my mission and gasping at the content of the new shows and the vulgar
language and adult concepts they portrayed. (Actually, I guess I was
just more naive to the "foul" humor of Cheers and Night Court before
I left.) Anyway, I took notice to two of my "favorite" shows playing
up for the sweeps.
Case One: Friends. This show is actually full of bad morals in
nearly every episode, but the story that I had actually enjoyed - the
tension in the relationship between Ross and Rachel finally resolved
in their "getting together." The problem is, on their first real
"date", they wake up naked under a fur rug in Ross' Natural History
museum (in front of Catholic school kids no less.) I would bemoan
the nature of the evil box and it evils if it weren't for case two.
Case Two: Lois and Clark. If you remember the movie series with
Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder, Superman and Lois finally hooked
up, but they warmed up Superman's ice castle with premarital fooling
around. Not so this time around. Unless I missed an episode (which
is possible), Lois and Clark WAITED(despite Teri Hatcher's "nasty"
reputation.) I have to applaud a show that actually has kid's
"heroes" making the right choice.
