Who is this effing queen Gino in the thong bikini??? Probably some little
faggot who diddles himself while reading the klr650 list mail. He better
hope these guys have a sense of humor.
Hey little faggot, anyone push in your stool lately? hahaha

Don't be too hard on Gino... ya, he's kinda spindly and is losing his hair,
but for the most part he's a pretty good guy. We're all just having fun...
right Gino? =^)
Now Merc... about your post... let's keep things in better taste shall we?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Arne

There is something about wearing leather on a hot day
that just gets my juices flowing. Boys love the effect.
Don't forget to accessorize with chaps and riding crop.

Is there an advantage to the all out replacement of the rear shock vs simply
putting the progressive spring on the stock shock? More precisely, what's
the cost difference and are the advantages worth the extra $$?

While I was merely salivating over KLRs on the net and at every shop I
passed, my wife bought me the exact toy this message refers to for under $5.
If anyone else wants to buy it for $31 like the guy on e-bay did, let me
know and I'll even pay for the stamp to send it to you!!

Kitanica has jackets that start at around $175. I went for the Panzer which
has cell-padding in all the right places (spine, kidney, shoulder, elbows) and
lists @ $275. As far as I know the catalog they have is outdated by the
website and not nearly as pretty (more like schematics of the jackets). If
you know which jacket(s) you are interested in e-mail them at
beejcronin@earthlink.com and he'll get back to you with the prices. Tell him
Tumu sent you (it probably won't help with the price but makes me look like
a good friend).

She got it at a drug store called Genovese (I don't know if it's a national
chain cuz I never saw one in Texas when I lived there but it is at least a
northeast chain...) It's possible this was just a fluke and it was sitting
on the shelf for 10 years waiting for her to find it. It kept me occupied
until I could afford the real thing..although my co-workers are convinced
I'm autistic or something.

Book spec for the KLR-C is 77-124psi. And even that might seem a bit
low but to folks familiar with 4-strokes, but there's no simple way
to disable the auto compression release.
If your mech did the compression test properly, then there would
have been a test done with a "dry" bore as well as "wet", so you'd
have some idea about the condition of the rings/bore.
