  38. cotsmen would have, of course, adopted the  footwear here in the Americas=
  39.  when they arrived.  I've made a few pair of Gillies and they are extreme=
  40. ly simple to make and thick cowhide can be used because there is no seam.

  54. another question, a friend of mine wants to get into the highlander
  55. dress, he saids he wants high top moccasins to go with his kilt. I
  56. showed him the highlander sketchbook and pointed out that I do not
  57. believe high top,(tandy type) was worn by highlanders, but if there
  58. were not wearing brogans or some other type of leather shoe, it was
  59. eastern style moccasins with leggins or hose/socks. where can he find
  60. more reference and supplies for highlander costume?

  63. hanging free under a skirt!
