I have read that, in several accounts and seen what you found, but from what I found else where, that was when the product was called this [steel wool] as a "trade" name and possibly patented at that time, around before this as mentioned before - just not called "steel wool".

Hey Buck,
Your right, that ol'"Powder-to-Burn" is very talented for being a "new kid" with web building, looks like he could give all of us a lesson or two.
Man, give a few years and he'll be changing work skills, this is easy to work with and fun to look around at.
Thanks guys, Oh - looks like Bill put your tail to work Buck, about time you shared some of the goddies in that old gray head.
Love
Turtle.

Turtle,
You retard, what the heck are "goddies", stop picking your tooth and pay attention to what the other finger is doing.

Haven't been around you two for years, and you both are still going at each other - guess some-things/people don't change.
If that "Gump" character hadn't claimed that bumper sticker, I'd swear one of you two came up with it. There's always Something Happening with these two.
And Turtle when have you gotten so "lovey dovey".

Subject: MtMan-List: Hudson's Bay Company Frontier Artists
I recently read about a "frontier artist" hired by the Hudson's Bay Company: Paul Kane (1847). Does anyone know the name of any artists in the employ of the Hudson's Bay Company prior to 1840? Thank you in advance.
