  114. I made meat wid me new 54 cal today..... I spotted a mole in the back yard 
  115. kicking up hills of dirt and gave him a round ball in front of 120 grains of 
  116. 3F. I figure the concussion/kill range from that load is about a two foot 
  117. circle..... I did take out the hill of dirt though.

  119. Anyway.... what was interesting was my kinda tame raccoons came over to see 
  120. what the hell was going on, and when I dug up the dead mole, one grabbed him 
  121. and proceeded to EAT the critter! I knew there was a good reason for me to 
  122. let them coons hang out in my back yard. Also might have to feed them a bit 
  123. more often too..... they did appear to be hungry. <G>

  243.     While watching one of those TV shows that feature appraisals, one of the
  244. 'expert' appraisers discussed a beaver hat he found at a flea market. This
  245. 'experts' stated that the era of the beaver top hat was from 1840 to 1870.
  246.     Some expert.
  247.     Incidentally, he appraised the hat, in its original leather box at about
  248. $450.00.
